I think he is one of the final few invites. According to the website, you can be invited if you have impressive film along with having previously attended a Nike SPARQ combine.
The NFTC camp performance is only one factor in getting an invite. They also look at game film. That is why some of the NFTC camp position MVPs do not receive invites.
