So if it wasn't my thread that confirmed your a jackass, then this one confirms my thoughts.

I said, "I have no idea"

It wasn't like I gave some ridiculous guess to what could be wrong. Besides saying the obvious of which almost everyone else has said. "family or health" See I thought you were the average MLIVE dick, from downvoting me in the other thread for no real reason and I was right.

You serve no purpose to this community. Go back to Mlive if you want to just respond back to other peoples comments that did no harm at all.

Your life must be pretty damn boring to sit on the internetand be a douche bag all day.

Pointing out that I have no idea, and saying maybe it's health or family issues, was no crime at all. I even ended it with I hope he come back soon!

So you must be talking about the info I shared in between. Which was nothing bad at all. Or speculation, as I said it might not have anything to do with this situation.

Go get a life you ignorant fool. I'm here for the support of the Team, coaches, and this blog community. You need to go learn how communicate with others and maybe how to read.

Just wanted to make sure I get my checklist right, since I have reading comprehension issues:

  • Not agreeing with you that we want another thread of people's opinions on the OL = jackass (we'll ignore the fact that this lack of agreement seems to be commonplace)
  • Pointing out that baseless speculation is not actually adding any value = douche bag (we'll ignore the fact that others seem to be in agreement that it doesn't add value)

Did I get those right?

Here are a couple I'll add for consideration.  I'm not sure how to categorize them so could use your help given my lack of communication skills:

  • Checking your posts' voting details (who the heck cares?)
  • Continuing any sentence after typing the words "I have no idea."  By definition, should that be a signal to delete your comment?

In all seriousness, I don't care whether or not you enjoy my expression of disagreement.  I think the message board would be a better place without baseless speculation and don't mind being on the record with that position.

I completely agree with the poster you attacked. Your speculation was inappropriate under the circumstances. Is it so hard to respect someone's privacy when they are dealing with a difficult situation? What was your point, to start a discussion of which of your wild guesses was most likely?

Methinks he was still smarting from the voting and general board reaction to his post on the state of our offensive line circa 2015.  His first comment in that thread seemed a bit "testy" at the reaction that several posters (including yours truly) had to yet ANOTHER offensive line speculation thread.

I wish him the best and it looks like everyone is staying positive with this situation.  I hope he takes all the time he needs and comes back here if it's the right move for him.  Otherwise, best of luck wherever he ends up with whatever he decides to do.

I wish him the best.

I'd love to know the specifics because baseless speculations are running rampant in my mind.  I'll keep them to myself but it is so hard to respect his privacy.

Hopefully, whatever is happening isn't too serious and he can be back with the team at some point this season. I wish him the best with this.

As a note to Cunning_Stunts above from one of your friendly (if a little mad) mods, if that's how it is going to be your MGoBlogging time can be made tragically short. You're new, so I'll rack it up to ignorance as to the etiquette of this place, but be warned all the same.

I thought about it for a while, and about twenty minutes ago, I did block him because I figured there really wasn't much of a way he could recover from that sort of a start. Sadly, some newbies / trolls start so bad that it simply isn't worth it in the end. Perhaps he returns under a new username - there's not much we can do about that - but I do try to at least be fair with people for a time before I go with the more stringent measures.

Wish him the best in resolving/dealing with what ever prompted this. Ditto what Hoke said about respecting his privacy, as curious as I'm sure we all are. We'll know when he's ready for us to know.

As a fan, this is the 3rd straight gut punch this week (Peppers injury, Morgan injury, this). Hope this is it and maybe we even get a positive surprise to offset things.

and I look forward to a successful return for him. If I was to venture a guess, if he is in fact leaving school also,  it just sounds like maybe he's dealing with a family illness or some other personal issue.

Regardless of whether he ends up back at U-M or not, I wish him well and hope it's not a serious issue, best of luck Kyle, be well young man!

Very unlikely he's related to the Bosch family of Bosch Tools.  The company in question is a massive German multinational ... as in more than $50Billion in sales and 300,000 employees.  (The home tools business is a relatively small part of what they do ... they are also a HUGE auto and industrial components manufacturer -- it's just that consumers recognize the brand because they come in contact with the tools.)

To whatever caused his Leave of Absence. As someone who needed to take a break during his sophomore year, I feel for him. It was a tough enough time without it being discussed on blogs by people who'd never met me.

Situations like this where you just cross your fingers that nobody in his family has gotten sick or taken a turn for the worst. Hopefully everything works out for the best and Kyle is back in school soon enjoying his college years to the fullest.

The timing of this announcement strikes me as kind of strange.  If it was a personal issue, is it just a coincidence that it came along after the first game when he didn't play?  I mean, think about it.  Every college lineman prospect, no matter how good they are, expect to be redshirted at most major college programs their freshman year.  Bosch did not get a redshirt.  He even played in a fair number of games last year.

Fast forward to this year.  Now, its looking like he isn't going to see playing time at all.  Joey B, whom he had beat out last year, has in turn beat him out this year.  If he sits all year, and he doesn't get a redshirt this year.... you do the math.

Love all you hall monitors who call for an immediate gag order on all speculation.  If they don't want speculation, they could have simply not have said anything publicly.  They did.  Live with it.  People are going to speculate.

They made a statement b/c it would get around pretty quickly anyway that he was no longer with the team. Better to make a pre-emptive statement about it than to allow unchecked speculation to run wild. At least this way, they can craft the message before some stupid trolls come up with "inside sources" telling them that Bosch left the team for whatever negative reasons they can come up with.

I played basketball at a small D1 school. One night after a game, one of my teammate's packed up and left to go home. Didn't say a word to anybody and he was our 7th/8th man. A few weeks later we found out he left because his girlfriend back home was pregnant. He transferred to a NAIA school to be close to her. Anyways, not really relevant here but it just made me think of it. Hope all is well! Hang in there

Lurking for a bit, I've almost posted a few times, but always hesitated.

Settling that the website both educates and gossips (meant in a non-pejorative way) about football, the website serves a great purpose.

Hating wild speculation and pot-stirring, which I'm no less guilty than anyone else, I decided only to post, when information could help/prove informative.

I have a couple friends on the football team (currently playing, and one that was cut ~4 weeks ago), they told me there was a lot of friction between the O-line players in 2013, (not to mention, they said Borges would probably be gone, that he was completely, absurdly out of touch). Something about the O-line players not getting along too well, oil-and-water type situation, something about people from the city vs. people from the country, "corn-fed" and "city" were their words exactly.

Just glancing at Bosch's twitter, there's a lot, a lot, of very pro-USA material, a pic-text talking about a current-NFL-player/army-veteran being the "real hero" for his service and awards, over michael sam being a "hero" for kissing his boyfriend on TV. Pictures of trophy hunting a ram. very pro-military uploaded pictures. tweets saying "things were better when 'W' was in the whitehouse", and of course, friends teasing him about his patriotic zeal (in good fun, it seems).

All of this I mean in a non-judgemental way. People should be free to believe what they want to believe (to an extent, in some select cases, it seems).

But, what stands out the most, is that on a campus like Ann Arbor, I can't help but presume (remember I'm "presuming") that it could be looked down upon. While I love Ann Arbor myself, I'm not ignorant to the fact that the campus can feel a little condescending and cold to people who come from different backgrounds and hold different beliefs. In a way, UM, it's atmosphere, it's culture, is very open and accepting...to ideas, concepts, and behaviors that they already agree with.

I'm fully aware that I"m going out on a limb. And I'm not doing it for any other reason than just, this is what immediately comes to mind. I myself am a coach/teacher as part of my job, and one of the fundamentals to doing that well, oft underestimated, and independent to the direct performance of the task itself, is the group identity and dynamics and differing backgrounds, and making it cohesive, tight-knit, and genuinely familial, which improves performance and satisfaction (which reinforce eachother day-in day-out).

I understand I could be way off-base. And in all likelihood, I probably am. But I know that coming to a UM campus, wtih values, be they religious, cultural, or otherwise, can be very difficult for anybody, particularly someone under the dual stressors of school AND sport, not to mention, friendship, education, future, art, respite, etc.

Oh, and I don't mean to drum everyone up, just maybe provide a little more depth and complexity to an program/organization/collegiate-sport/cultural-aspect that I resentfully see simplified, flattened and criticized by both fans, pundits, and media who are so results-driven, they never stop to think about the three-dimensions and phsyches that these people we see on TV actually have beyond the 60 minutes of football played ~13 times a year.

Having lived with a few players, it's difficult to see the toll, both psychologically and physiolgically it takes on them (of course, they do it because they love it), but that doesn't mean their pain isn't real.

That, and I personally hold the belief that the campus can be cold, real cold at times, to people who think differently (ironic as that seems for a college campus). Something about cloistering all these intelligent and busy minds, and having them fight for grades, only leads for the argumentation to go beyond the classroom, leading into identity and belief. Not that that isn't the point to some degree, but that doesn't mean it's not painful or easy. There almost seems to be a scarcity complex among students (MIchigan's economy doesn't help that either) that leads to a lot of coldness and jockeying for intellectual/status positioning.

I do wish him the best though. Whatever it is that he may be dealing with right now.
