Kyle Bosch chimes in on LTT letter burning. ~~ "Bring a gun"
Gotta love this guy's moxie, and the nastiness of this team. I'm liking what I'm seeing...
I agree with all above. It is awesome to see the commits sticking up for each other, but this may be taking it a bit far. Magnus hit it on the head, mentioning guns in a sense like this, is taking it over the top. Just let it go and move on. Haters gonna hate.
...has been comically terrible. I just thought I'd mention that.
Haven't watched any of it; have they discussed how aliens influenced the feud yet?
I sure hope they do. They might as well take this thing completely over the top.
glad I'm not the only one whos been thinking this...
I've been quite enjoying it. Dunno how historically accurate, but entertaining nonetheless.
We aren't hearing a peep from last year's class because the recruiting attention is gone and they know they are about to get their asses kicked by guys on their own team.....By the time the 2013 recruits play an actual game whatever is said now will be blown over (except for maybe a certain Kalis quote).
Going a little overboard now. Lets just focus on kicking their ass on the field boys
#shitjustgotreal
ew, the freePOS... gross.
Just shutup and play, I sorta hate recruiting now-a-days.
Your hate is a bit ironic given your avatar.
Delivery has nothing to do with the delivery business.
Guns kill. Just sayin'.
This one made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that, Wolvin.
Where is the metaphor?
Gun = army of Columbus cronies = ADULTS sending threats to a 17 year old = ...
Seriously? Does it need to be explained any further that he used a figure of speech in a situation in which people overreacted by sending threats because of the harmless action of a 17 year old kid?
Actually, I'm pretty sure guns don't kill people. Lamar Woodley kills people.
The media is overblowing it, not really the kids themselves.
Well it's settled then, we know he's a badass. It would have been a really dumb statement had it come from an MSU or OSU recruit, but when he says it it's just gritty.
Not a fan of this. It's pointless and no good can come from it.
I think middle schoolers should have a mandatory core class on social media etiquette. Glad I wasn't a teenager with all of this social media crap.
I think this whole thing is going a little overboard.
Also, I certainly wouldn't be challenging the crazies in Ohio to bring a gun.
Let the final score talk after you beat their ass on the field.
Its all fun and games until someone shows up on his doorstep with a gun. We've now got people running around eating other people's faces, how far fetched is it to think that a crazed Ohio fan would take Bosch's words to heart? People have overreacted to less. Like Magnus implied above, there's no reason to bring a gun to a knife fight, so to speak.
Also, stop reading the Free Press.
Not sure what's sadder, the continued social media posturing of these kids, or the fact that all of us full grown adults and professional media types are giving it so much attention and hype.
The second one. By lots.
I've mentioned it before; we are going to need a Twitter Controversy Catalogue System.
This one gets denoted:
NCAF.umich.12.5.30.Bosch.3
NCAF = NCAA football
umich = University of Michigan
12 = 2012
5 = May
30 = Day
Bosch = player
3 = This is a special qualifier, denoting the "Twitter controversy quality." This one is a "Triple Twitter controversy." Wherein Logan Tuley-Tillman Tweeted a controversial photograph (Single Twitter controversy), subsequent "death threats" were communicated electronically (Double Twitter controversy) and then the resultant #bringagun hashtag appended to a Kyle Bosch Tweet (Triple Twitter controversy).
So things like these become a lot easier to reference:
NFLF.nyjets.11.8.1.Edwards.1
ESPN.comm.11.5.27.Howard.2
NCAF.ohsu.12.1.3.Fragel.2
I know a guy whose mom shot his cheating stepdad in the dick with a nonmetaphorical gun. It didn't kill him, but he sure does limp a lot now.
He limps a lot, or it limps a lot?
This just feels dumb all around. Kids shouldn't be tweeting about bringing guns (even in jest), and the media shouldn't be talking it up so much. Everyone looks like idiots in this whole debacle.
I know I always freak out if I think about getting shot in the dik with any type of gun, metaphorical or not.
This needs to be done with yesterday, but the predictable sanctimony from 11w over this was lawl-worthy.
Yeah, yeah, Bosch should rein it in. He's a 17 year old kid; the Big Lots Buckeyes are in their 30's and typing in death threats with one hand while the other hand pleasures themselves to Casey Anthony pics from the sanctity of their parents' basement.
Yeah, yeah, OSU recruits aren't getting into Twitter slapfights. That's because (knock on wood) Wal-Mart Wolverines at least have the grace to not send them death threats online.
My favorite part of the 11W conversation is how they keep saying Hoke needs to control his players - players who are not yet on campus and who he can't (by rule) speak to whenever he wants. Meanwhile, let's take a look at Ohio's last two coaches:
Tressel: Clearly didn't control his players who were getting free cars, tattoos, and selling stuff they received from the football program.
Meyer: Clearly didn't control his players down in Florida when they were getting arrested at an alarming rate.
Meanwhile, each of those coaches had problems with players who were on campus who the coach could call into his office at any time. Great reasoning dumbasses.
By the way, Alex at 11W needs to be smarter - taking shots at another school's recruits is not okay. Look at how people who cover Michigan recruiting handle kids no matter where they are committed to. He's a joke.
Personally... I love it... Standing up for one another is great... and the bring a whole fuckin army attitude is great. The games are meaningful enough but I love the extra fuel to the fire!
I generally agree, but at a certain point it just gets too inflammatory.
On the count of 3, everyone freak out and scream like a small child.
This could be the most inane story ever.
I'm not sure the Justin Boren Halloween costume as Rich Rodriguez got as much play as this. The Billy Price comments trashing Michigan during an unofficial visit for the Game didn't make this many waves. Please let's let this story die.
hey Urban...stop trying to poach our verbal commits...problem resolved...begining to think that's all this guy does is follow the recruiting trails of B1G coaches and reaches out to their commits. I understand that a verbal is nothing more than a word but I recall someone calling RR a snake oil salesman who violated some code of conduct or whatever. These are kids, they say and do stupid stuff. There's a point when you poke a bee hive, you might get stung.
Can you also recall what you called Hoke when he was recruiting OSU verbals Dunn and Kalis last year? "Poaching" recruits is not the issue.
but we were in the death spiral that was the 3-3-5 defense so no really noticed
Love the attitude, but let's just keep it trapped until we hit the field.
Would love to get the focus back on Team 133.
