Kurt Coleman suspended
Uh, the title kinda says it all; Breaking news from Cleveland.com

Story includes pathetic "I'm really sorry" immediately after by Coleman. Sure, you were. And so was Robert Reynolds.
This quote is amusing, in the way that contradiction is amusing:
OSU junior defensive tackle Dexter Larimore said: "I personally thought it was just a guy being aggressive, playing the game like it should be played. It was a bad hit, but I think as a player, it's hard to be able to say my head needs to be here or there while you're flying around at 100 mph."
Ohio State AD Gene Smith called the suspension, "poor judgement." Maybe he should be fined for criticizing the officiating?

This was mentioned yesterday, but it was buried so far you may have never found it. Here's the thread if you want to see some of the comments

THanks, I went back about three or four pages, but I guess I should have used the search function. Thought it was more recent than it actually was. I'm surprised the AD and Tressel issued a statement which disagreed with the suspension. Seems like an unusual stance to take against the conference.

I only remember the thread because a couple of the random responses stuck out.

Since tOSU officials think it was a bad decision to suspend Coleman I hope their players make similar bad decisions against Iowa on Nov. 14

although the Reynolds incident and this one are different, i have no problem with the Big 10 enforcing its new helmet to helmet policy of which everyone (including OHIO STATE) had notice.

I just watched the hit. It was pretty unnecessary. I stand by my previous comment.
