Kris Frost won NC Defensive MVP of The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star game

I'm not sure if this has been posted on the MGoBoard, my apologies if it has... I found this on ESPN dated 12/20 about the The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star game.

Kris Frost (Matthews, N.C./Butler) won the North Carolina Defensive MVP for the game. The four-star athlete could potentially play on all three levels of the defense in certain situations, but fits best at linebacker and seven tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and a pass break-up. A good overall athlete, the uncommitted Frost can be physical against the run and with a nice closing burst he can deliver a pop on contact. He flashed his ability in coverage on his pass break-up as he stayed on the hip of the intended target and as the ball came he reached in and knocked it down.

Looks nice, lets hope he joins us....could really use someone like this.

I don't think it shows anything except Michigan is still Michigan.  Anyone with any sense knows Michigan is still a top 5 program and recruits itself.  Every program has bumps in the road.  You can't go 60 years without a little turmoil.  ESPN and the rest of the SEC homers can think what they want but Michigan is still Michigan and that won't change.  GO BLUE!

Talent like that would be an unbelievalble addition to this team.  Obviously being the defensive MVP of an all-star game says it all for his defensive skills, and would suit our needs.  But I bet he'd be a tank at WR if he's got the speed to get open and the hands.  It might be fun seeing a WR get YAC by running over DB's.   Please oh please commit to U of M.

Kris has wanted to play receiver all along, which he will get his shot at. But I think even he is realizing that he has terrific potential at linebacker. Either way, he's a terrific athlete and a great kid to have in your program.

I think this kid is one of the most important recruits for this class.  I would be devastated if he went somewhere else.  Let's hope he is a heavy Michigan lean and goes Blue.
