Hate to be a downer, but aren't we one of three in the running? Been disappointed lately, and I'm not thinking this one is probable.

I think it all depends on what Hoke and Co. were telling this kid in the back channel.  If he only noticed his UM recruitment picked up over the last week or so he might be turned off. It is not as though Iowa doesn't develop NFL caliber linemen.  Not sure about this but I'm going 52% Iowa on this one.  This would be a great pick up for us though.

Best OL in draft with strong class in AA. Iowa with good history of putting OL in draft. Not a disappointing one though since we have others in play.Would be a a good get so we'll see.

feels any effect this year on top kids b/c of the issues they have had, both with the health scare and with all of the kids leaving.  This would be a nice get for us to show that the wind is blowing against Ferentz.  Although they're not in the hunt for this kid, I have to believe Nebraska coming to the B10 isn't helping things much.

FYI   Ferentz is a great coach, and a good guy. A true Michigan man would never want the "wind to blow against" Ferentz.  An old Bo player explained to me why we have such high regard for Iowa is because Bump Elliott went to be the AD and then they had the great Hayden Fry.  Ferentz is almost one of us, and even almost was. I heard Carr wanted Ferentz to succeed him.

I only want people who are passionate about wearing maize and blue. We'll be all all right. I'm sure we'll get at least two - three more good options and if we need to bank more that means an even better class next year. This will be a top 10 class or close to it. As people have said our needs are largely met and at this point the next committs are almost gravy. That said, come on down Kozan.

Will we know his decision today? Since there's no announcement, will he just be telling coaches or will it be released once he makes a decision tonight?
