kOT: What To Do TODAY??! Thread

Submitted by Mr. Yost on

I'm sure everyone is as excited as I am, this Sunday is going to feel like a week and tomorrow...is going to feel like a lifetime.

What are you guys going to do to pass the time?

I wish someone could put me in cryosleep until 9pm tomorrow, because every second I've been awake has been thinking about Michigan/Louisville.

Anyone going to watch all of the other Michigan tourney games?

Maybe watch coverage on ESPN/BTN all day to get your fix?

Or maybe go the opposite route and get outside, do work around the house, etc.?

This is one of the most painful yet glorious days to be a fan. Just wondering what everyone is going to do in honor of "Pre-Championship Sunday."

BTW, kOT = Kinda Off Topic (for those that didn't catch that).

Filling the space that is today will be the Tigers and the chores that I swore up and down I would do today, such as trimming back some shrubs in preparation for spring. That, and do the grocery shopping that I claimed to be "too nervous to do" yesterday, because thanks to snacks last night, the fridge is now officially in sad shape.

I don't know what I will do about work tomorrow - probably hide out in my office and attempt to work...attempt to work. I have a couple meetings tomorrow, but I will be the guy in the corner on his iPad watching the "experts" break this matchup down.

Too nervous to do grocery shoppping?   Welcome to March Madness.   Isn't a great feeling?

I solved the grocery situation by suggesting we eat a late restaurant lunch yesterday, then dig into the chips, salsa, pretzels, etc. during game time.  Worked like a charm.   But, like you, the refrigerator and cupboards are bare, so a grocery run is on the to-do list today.

This morning I'm going to spend time reading about Michigan basketball, finish taxes, and checking MGoBlog every few minutes just to see if there is any new content or threads started that might have something that I have not seen... then I will hit the gym and go shopping for a new truck before going to the Blazers game.

I wish I wore a pedometer last night. I'm tired from pacing, cheering, and stressing out while watching the game. We got together with friends last night to watch the Final Four and my wife made this comment to them, "I tried to warn you what he is like when watching Michigan. Don't expect him to talk with you much".

Oh, I also need to start planning my subtle trash talking for my Sparty boss, which often includes taking the high road because that drives him crazy.

Last night after I bought my plane ticket and the ticket to the game I was wired. Needless to say I did not sleep at all last night; I laid there thinking at some point I would fall asleep and it never happened.

What did I do today? Booked last minute flights to Raleigh, meeting up with my brother in law, and driving down to Atlanta for the game.

If nothing else happens today, I'd say I had a pretty good day.

Securing my extra ticket to a Wolverine fan. I live here in Atlanta and last night was Krazy up in this city..I got back around 1am and naturally I had to go IMMEDIATELY watch the DVR...then  it was 4am and I was jacked up. went to bed at 6am had to get up at 715am to go get my tickets...Then found  a deseperate Wolverine fan here in town from craigslist..Told him he could have it or face value...there was about a minute lapse.....I think he fainted....making a short story long hes on his way to pick it up...I wasnt going to let that ticket go UNLESS it was to a Wolverine....I took the two weeks of the tournment off months ago because I KNEW that having the Final Four HERE with MICHIGAN was my dream come true ..AND IT FREAKING HAPPENED!!!!! the rest of my day will be spent sleeping with the semi final game running in the background....GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
