THE KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE: 6
Penn State 23
UM 38, PSU 23 also.
UM 42 - PSU 31
PLEASE ! Or change your heading to Wishful Thinking!
I participated in this challenge the past two gameday weeks, predicted a Michigan win, and Michigan lost both games. I now curse this challenge thread and will protest it for the rest of the season, not that anyone cares. (For what its worth, I actually enjoy this challenge but my superstitious gene is taking over.)
I'll say Denard goes 250-150
Michigan 1,000,000 - Penn State -1,000,000
UM 49 - PSU 27
Michigan 217 Penn St 4. I really like Penn St for 2 safeties.
How does PSU acquire those safeties? I assume its somehow related to Michigan special teams because I'm sure you aren't thinking the offense is going to surrender them . . .
One will be a not-so-hilarious Benny Hill style blocked field goal and the other will probably be Rich Rod helping Penn St's self-esteem by giving them the other safety.
I was worried that one was going to be a blocked punt. Hagerup would never let that happen!
And just the mention of a blocked field goal immediately brought the HORROR to mind. Buzz kill!
For which Rich Rod will be excoriated by half of Michigan's fan base for not having a go-for-throat mentality...
Mike Martin or Chuck Norris must block that field goal. They're just going to punch the ball and it'll go out of the stadium the other way resulting in a safety.
Do you know how unlikely two safeties are?
- but, 217 points doesn't raise an eyebrow?
Michigan 24 (yea, a field goal!)
Son of Gloin 21
+1 for the LotR reference.
Mich 35 PSU 31
Muppets, I also predict muppets
I also would love muppets
Michigan makes a FG. Penn State has a few big plays, but are mostly held in check.
Michigan also is the one that makes the field goal
Penn State 27
Penn St. 24
All those who doubt THE_KNOWLEDGE shall be left behind in a trail of dust.
What's with the lazy formatting? 45- 31 points Meeeechigan!
penn st. 17
A Brett Favresque storyline for THE_KNOWLEDGE
"... Im done... No wait I'm coming back... Check that fuck it Im out... Ahhh shucks I am back bitches!"
Check out these pics of my dong, world.
Michigan 42, PSU 40. Failed 2-pt conversion to tie with no time left for PSU.
I'd probably die of a heart attack
But you'd die a happy man.
Go Blue wear Maze
Good thing I picked mine up this week at the MDen
MICH 38 PSU 17
the stress of the loss causes Joe Pa to reveal to the world that he is, in fact, Buddy Holly and that he faked his death because he loved football more than music.
Penn State kickes a field goal to end the first half. To close the gap to 28-3.
But Michigan rolls.
Michigan 42 - Penn State 24
but not for the reasons you think.
for single-season rushing yards by a QB (1,270 by Antwaan Randle El in 2000). This means Denard will gain at least 175 yards on the ground against PSU.
Yes, we will kick two field goals
-The Knowledge Rules
Michigan scores everytime they touch the ball! 84-17
former Holland Christian coach Willie Snead III?
penn state 17
commmmmmmme to staaaaaaaaaaaate......
Bend but don't break defense is effective and leads to 5 field goals and one late touchdown.
Penn State 23
We own Penn State.
Also, Joe Paterno falls asleep in the 3rd quarter.
The late start would mess with him being able to go to sleep by 7:30 pm.
Hopefully he can order his bowl of soup before he falls asleep.
They can have the field goal. We get the win.
getting a TD on their first drive. Then it falls apart as HOPKINS RAGE and Dilithium Denard take over the game.
Michigan 38, PSU 13
Michigan 38 Penn State 27
2) MM Branches McGloin
So I will go 31-21 Michigan.
Michigan misses an extra point and a FG; PSU makes 4 field goals.
I think this one's gonna be a little bit of a nailbiter. Michigan will have a strong 1st quarter. Penn State will make it competitive in the 2nd quarter, then Michigan will gain a 2-score lead. Penn State will threaten a sort of comeback, but will fall short by having to settle for too many field goals on the day.
Michigan - 31
Penn State - 23
UM 38 PSU 24.
Michigan 35 Penn State 17
52-24 Michigan becomes bowl eligible. Denard goes for another 200/200 day.
Michigan 33 Penn State 26
Michigan 35 - PSU 20
52-31. Defense scores off a turnover for the first time this year. Raback it.
Penn State is horrible, I can't stress that enough.
Michigan 38 - PSU 24
Michigan 45 - Penn State 24
Michigan - 65
Penn State - 14
But 35-24 anyways.
Mich 48 PSU 17
