Knee-jerk reactions to knee-jerk reactions spring game thread

Submitted by Optimism Attache on

I thought the Vigo the Carpathian picture was funny, though I didn't understand exactly what it meant.

Also, a lot of diversity of opinion about the QB performance. Probably justified given the weird circumstances of a spring game.

Finally, if people are interested I might do word cloud of the reactions.

What were your thoughts on the reactions?

This thread is not yet 20 replies old and already we have had questions about who is in fact getting busy in here and potentially rude surprises involving Oreos. If ever a thread was on the cusp of having it all on an otherwise uneventful Friday evening (save for the Spring Game, of course), this would be the one, I think.

I thought it was a little light on freakouts.

People, for every good play there is a bad play that let it happen.

You can't be excited for a Ty run without a linebacker miss.  You can't be excited for an O'Korn pass without a DB muff.  You can't be excited for a blitz sack without an OL whiff.

You should freakout on every play.  We have a reputation to uphold here.

he has grown fat and content now that he's home or eating with an enthusiasm unkown to mankind?

I have actually grown to  admire his wife. How many  women, regardless of the wealth of a person, undertood I imagine a a possible partner, would be so  understanding to not only allow him to go out in public with his sweatshirt tucked into his khakis, but doesn't even complain?

One hell of a woman, Mrs. Harbaugh. Coach, another wise decision.

I thought the qb competition was more decided before watching the spring game, but now it looks like the starter in the fall is still TBD. Having 2-3 qbs that can play is not a bad thing at all.

Looks like they've turned Shane into a football player and I'm glad to see it. I really don't think he's ever going to be a QB for us but clearly he wants to be on the field and the staff is giving him that opportunity. I'm happy for him and I hope he has some success this season, he can give us some interesting options. I thought our QBs looked pretty athletic and I'll admit that Isaac far exceeded my expectations. I've been hesitant to believe what people have been saying, I was pleasantly surprised.
