I was a little dissapointed in that interception just because of how funny it would've been if Notre Dame ended up losing two weeks in a row in the exact same fashion: a last second drive set up by bad clock management and bizarre play-calling.

I actually wanted sparty to win that just to bury weis. At the end of the day, though, you need to not do something that stupid at the end of the game, I guess.

Another big time sparty no! moment.

The game completely changed when Floyd went out. Still, it was great to see Sparty's heart ripped out like that, especially after the wide open miss on the play before. Hopefully this will send Sparty into a season-long tailspin.

At least we'll be saved another week of front butt complaining about Big Ten refs for correct calls while Delaney and the Big East scramble to console him with secondary reviews and arbitrary suspensions.

As for Cousins v Tate, MSU had infinitely better blocking on that last drive than we had, but none of the passes were better than CA 2, not to mention the horrible read that luck turned into a first down.

Poise is the difference. Cousins had a hard time with the pressure, which, like, for a rookie is pretty understandable. Forcier, in comparison, stared chucking DO after DO when the dial turned up. Cousins was good but he is no Forcier.

As I said in the other thread Great players make big plays when the game is on the line. 4CA did that Cousins did the opposite of that (3 times on that drive).

State can be happy with Cousins but I'll take Tate thank you very much.

+1 Mis

Comment of the night:

(From Spartan fan GP while watching Weis with his play sheet on the last ND possession)

"is that a menu he's ordering from?"
