How you still have posting privileges? Let me guess you were one of the douchebag fans who started the firerod site, where's the fire rich rod buttons around, and probably sold your ticket to OSU fans. RR is not the problem Tom, YOU are the problem. Of course you'll probably say "we sucked" but this is the best game I've seen a Michigan team play against OSU since 2006 and if you don't see progress then you're a blind idiot and nothing that we say will ever be able to help you.

So let's neg everything he posts, even if the individual post itself isn't objectionable. And let's neg anyone who dares to even innocently suggest that maybe we shouldn't be targeting posters in this manner. That way we can cleanse the message board of nonbelievers. People actually think this is a good idea?

1. I didn't neg you 2. I think that Tom Hagen should get the ban hammer. He provides nothing of substance, he only bitches, he always questions people and calls them out for them to explain how things are better this year but then when people do point out what has changed and how things are better he ignores them and continues on with the same drivel as before. The man is a broken record and it's time to throw him in the trash.

I'm with you Fuzzy Dunlop. I've noticed you posting things in line with my thinking. Love Michigan, not quite sure about Rich Rod, but willing to see it through, getting sick of the herd around here. Hopefully I didn't put words into your mouth, but I figured you might like to know there are others out there.

I get the impression that he's not all that willing to see it through, more that he's doing it out of necessity, as RR hasn't been, nor will be fired (pending a few major happenings, which may or may not have a more than marginal probability of happening). You guys tend to make it clear in your post that you're still sticking it out, that's cool. Tom had several posts just flat out calling for RR to be fired now. The "herd" / deletion of posts finally got him to turn it down (he wasn't the only one with this treatment) to just posts that subtly suggest things. I'm fine with the subtle hits, but it also gets old, and so does the bitching about it. It's almost like trolling the way he does it. He's posting hints that RR should be fired and replaced with Harbaugh with frequency that people are getting tired of it and are getting heated with it. It just causes more bitching, which just makes more suck. Just my e-pinion.

Thanks FA, good to hear from you guys about this topic. I know you all running the show here have pretty level heads. And for the record I too think Tom has been over the top in his agenda. It's just the attitudes around here toward any dissent or any different opinions lately that have been pissing me off. I think just like we shouldn't lump everyone into "the herd," everyone shouldn't lump those of us who question RR in with Tom. Thanks for your thoughts.

Dissenting opinion is good and should be IMO encouraged. It is when that dissenting opinion (or positive opinion) is overwhelming and has no basis in reality which is what his posts are. I'm completely fine with people expressing their concerns about the RR hire because if you are not starting to doubt/get worried then you're a bit crazy because all of us are having doubts. It is when those doubts start to turn into trolling where every good/bad thing is spun/immediately taken out of context and that is what has been happening with both sides of the fence. But as I've said there are really only 2 things that we as fans can do: 1. Support the coach and the team 2. Call for his head (Yes I know you can support the coach and the team and still question things)

I think it's all a vicious circle. If you're truly "all in" you tend to lump anyone that isn't all in together and if you're skeptical, you lump all the true believers together, and it spins from there with little ability to differentiate the different levels of belief / skepticism. It's been a long year, maybe we should all just check out, enjoy Thanksgiving and head back here a few days before the Kansas game.

Tomhagan, you suck. I wish you upon no fanbase (well, except maybe those neanderthals at MSU). But this was funny. Mike Barwis is an intense man. I'm all fired up to take down the Death Star.
