Kiffin shirts Donated to Haiti - What shirt you sending?
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/football/ncaa/01/13/kiffin-shirts…
Interesting idea... made me think of what jerseys/sweaters/shirts we should donate to Haiti.
I'm thinking any Hossa Red Wings Sweater should be donated.
Any other ideas?

I don't know if anyone is in the mood to make jokes about donating clothes to victims of a natural disaster, and then not doing it.

I'm sure the OP didn't mean to make light of the situation in Haiti.
Anyway, I didn't know about the drive. If I can find a "donation station" here in Clearwater, which should be easy due to its relatively close proximity, I am going to empty my closet of clothing that I don't use anymore.
So, the OP accomplished something with the post.

Whoa.. pull back a little. More of a topic regarding getting rid of sports-related clothes you will never wear again (and getting them to a place of need)... not a comment/joke about 200,000+ dead people.
Truth be told... my Hossa sweather will not make it to Haiti... I already have a bag of clothes ready to go to Salvation Army. Either way... I will never wear it again, but someone will

If you're going to send a Hossa red wings sweater/jersey, id advise cutting off the sleeves. It gets kinda hot down there.

What's probably just as sad as this disaster is the fact that it took this disaster to bring Haiti to the national discussion.
Haiti is one of the most impoverished nations in the world, and it's right here in our part of the world. It shouldn't have taken a disaster like this to get everyone thinking about how much help is needed there.
Sorry off my soapbox now.
This thread isn't the most tasteful, but it did remind me of an
Obscure jerseys site

Your post is counter-intuitive but at least the article is good. My prayers go out to all the lost and their loved one's.

of donations --
Turns out it has come up before, here.
This is a short list of links to highly trusted aid orgs working in Haiti right now.
Is there any way this (aid to Haiti) could become an Mgoblog project?

I'm gonna send my free Maurice Clarett shirt. I figure it has served its purpose.
