It is a kickstarter to help former MI hockey player Scooter Vaughn get his business off the ground. The ear buds look really cool and appear to be a great idea. Dear Friends & Family,
I am reaching out to you for help in starting up my new company, Jamboo Headphones. My dream has always been to run my own product based company and I am almost there! I have spent months working on this with my friend and colleague, Austin Glenn, and we finally have everything ready. All I need now is to raise the necessary start up funds.
What are Jamboo Headphones?
Jamboo Headphones were created to give customers a unique, style-driven choice in the cluttered headphone market. We strive to produce fashionable, long lasting, and inexpensive headphones that will never tangle, will grab people’s attention, and will give off a natural vibe that fits your personality. The headphones will come in six nature inspired themes and come with a convenient headphone leash so you can take them with you wherever you go!
The funding for Jamboo Headphones will be done through Kickstarter, an online crowd-funding platform where start up companies can advertise their product or campaign to raise funds from contributors. If the funding goal is not reached in a given amount of time, everyone’s money is returned. If the funding goal is reached your credit card will be charged on December 7th. I have 32 days to raise $12,000 that will be going towards the first round of inventory for Jamboo Headphones. There are numerous appreciation rewards for contributions ranging from $25 to $400. For example, if you donate $25 and we reach our funding goal, you receive a pair of headphones of your choice!
