The high frequency of high ankle sprains is indicative of poor conditioning. The lines get no push - indicative of strength/power issues. The "tired" legs of the defense - indicative of poor conditioning. Trust the eye test of this team's size and muscular development - indicative of poor conditioning.

Wellman just hasn't delivered a physically refined team.

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU....

Damn it, I hope he heals completely and quickly.  I really loved what he was bringing to the field and watching him get better game by game.

The ACL gods have been quiet thus far.....
Instead they blessed the Appalachian st WR with the ability to dive at J Peppers L leg in the third play of the first game. 6 of one...half dozen of the other.

At some point you gotta wonder whether or not this horrid four year stretch of injuries is bad luck or a product of the obvious "rub some dirt on it" mentality of our leader.

Oh, damnit. Definitely not the best thing to break essentially just before kickoff.

Best of luck to him in his recovery and hopefully he's back to 100% as soon as possible.

This team is the biggest disappointment in Michigan history. Get this staff out of AA and get some tough kids not these weak players. You don't see MSU and Ohio lose kids left and right to ACLs

I agree with the part about the staff. They either pissed off the wrong gypsy, are the most unlucky bunch in history or seriously are doing something wrong with the S & C. But the part about the kids not being tough is stupid. How does one "tough out" having a tendon that is no longer attached to the bone??

sucks for hill, im sure hell handle his business and get after it next year - hopefully with new HC.  bc the current HC insists on trotting aj williams out there despite his inability to improve his blocking, hands or route running since setting foot on campus (he must be yet another "practice" all star)
