He looks even better then he did in the spring! His mechanics and accuracy seems to have improved! Cant wait to see him play next week.

Well, nobody matches up well against E Harmony.

If only his receivers could catch a dang ball...

Bit of a weird release. But strong arm, and seems to have nice speed. Great kid to get in the program and let develop a few years.

Tried to truck a defender on the first running play and then kept playing all out even when his team was getting smoked.

he likes like a man out there, lot of throws of his back foot. Awkward release but airmails it!

we don't need to red-shirt Devin

I like his size. In three strides he goes 10 yards. He actually reminded me a little of a certain Buckeye from his H.S. film, but has more meat on him. He has a great arm with some funky mechanics (that will be fixed) but unfortunately for him, his passes kept hitting his receivers in the hands and it seemed to make it hard to catch the ball. Will be an absolute beast in the right system.
I think for any H.S. recruit who has watched the transformation of Denard, Shilling, Martin, Roh to name a few will easily see that RR and Barwis have got the formula to turn raw talent into refined talent.

He threw several passes that traveled 50 yards in the air with a tight spiral and were pretty much on target. Strong runner with above average speed.
This looks like a kid who could be a VERY good fit to star in RR's offense as a RS Junior assuming Gardner plays through 2013.

so, I'm curious why you thought the offer was suspect.

He reminds me of Tyrod Taylor.

looks pretty strong, but his throwing mechanics on some of the shorter passes looks wierd. Even though he made a lot of accurate throws.

Wow. He's huge. Clearly a runner, and with some work his passing motion could be helped out a bunch. Even with his strange form he was putting every throw exactly where it needed to be. If only all of his receivers could catch!

He looked pretty good out there, sans the funky release at times. It seems like Lake Nona will have him prepared well for a zone-read scheme like ours. I've never been down on this guy, but it excites me that he brings more of a truckin', straight ahead runner to our quarterback position that we don't have right now. Think Jeremiah Masoli (without the burglary) after a few years in our system.
