Hopefully other recruits will see the spots filling up and jump on board before they miss out on the oppurtunity to play in the first ever Big Ten championship game.

Am I the only one that is a little bit worried that 6/7 of our recruits are 3 stars?  You never seen this during lloyd's days.

His upside is unbelievable. Watch his highlights from last year and then watch his spring game highlight. He has the arm strength to fit it in tight spots (that's what she said?) and throw downfield (first highlight of the spring game was a 57 yarder, if im counting correctly), and his accuracy will continue to get better with more coaching. My favorite part, though, is that he is smart (3.5) competitive (camping like crazy) and lays an effing shoulder down at the end of his runs. I think a stud is what we have here.

Good lord, not this again.

A) Most of them have respectable offers from other good programs.

B)The ratings are re-evaluated later, so there is always the chance that they get more "stars".

C)Several of them are raw, having not played football for very long.  They will not be expected to make an immediate impact (though some of them could).  However, those that are raw are universally accepted to have enormous upside and potential.

Short answer: No

8-16 record will do that to you.  Numerous blue-chippers have dropped us because they wanted to play for a national championship contender.  I think that we'll get a true indicator of Rodriguez's recruiting abilities if and when he has a nine or a ten win season.

Who cares bout 3stars. Did u read the article posted? it says he is under the radar. LC was a great recruiter but he did get alot of 3 stars. Alot of these commitments in this class are solid players. I am happy with the commits we have.

have young Mr. Sousa as a new commit.  I can use this sort of excitement with two commits in one day.  Welcome aboard Kevin you are gonna be really glad you committed to Michigan.  Next up Kris Frost.

Anyone know how to pronounce his last name?  As it's spelled the same as John Philip Sousa's, I was inclined to pronounce it the same way.  However, in the ESPN video linked below, the interviewer says his name with a long "o" (as in Sammy Sosa).

It'd be nice to avoid a situation similar to when Feagin committed, when most of the fanbase called him Feeeegin for several months....

Kevin Sousa Sophmore Highlights:

Kevin Sousa Junior Highlights Part 1: Kevin Sousa Junior Highlights Part 2: Kevin Sousa Spring Game 2010: Notice a theme here? Every clip you watch, the kid seems to be better. Just imagine what he will be like when he reaches Michigan in 2011. Then after a redshirt season to learn the offense. This kid's upside really excites me. If he continues to grow and mature as he has in the last 2 years. We will have landed a QB that will suprise many doubters. To say the least i am very excited to see his development on the field.
