Where was Kelvin Grady today?
i would find this more credible if it was about Tom Crean
ask to rejoin the basketball team? Maybe he called it quits for football.
I did find that interesting, I thought he was still on the team.
Last I heard, Beilein was not expecting him to play basketball next year. Rothstein at Annarbor.com reported this on April 12:
Beilein doesn’t anticipate Kelvin Grady to return to the team saying, “it’s hard to even forecast that because I’m hoping they are in a bowl game.”
5th on depth chart at either spot = end of career.
I thought I heard White was likely to red shirt this year. If that happens, it would be possible for Kelvin to get some reps against the lesser teams at fourth string scat back.
I would be super offended if that was my position name, unless I was German and that was my thing.
Didn't he miss a chunk of spring practice because he was still playing basketball (or at least sitting on the bench)? Could that have been why he didn't get on the field?
Grady didn't play basketball this season.
Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Grady was on the team. He just didn't see any playing time, but I thought half way through the year he joined the team and rode pine the rest of the year. Then Rich Rod basically said were not doing that again.
I thought he was just on the practice squad for basketball and going to return once the basketball season ended, but I could be wrong
Some poster on Rivals' pay board mentioned seeing him in a boot.
Unless there's another Grady on the team, there was a Grady jersey in the locker room yesterday. Saw it on the tour.
He sat out the spring game with a minor injury. No big news to report. He had been practicing this spring, both at slot receiver and a bit at tailback.
He did practice with the basketball team toward the end of the year, too, but he never played.
I was sitting at breakfast around 8am and Kelvin walked in with a female friend...I said hello and asked him if he was playing today..."nope, injured my ankle" I said bummer and good luck this season.
