According to ESPN's College Football Live the lobbying Kelly will be interviewing at ND. Im sure no one is surprised by this.
Mike Lantry, 1972
Especially not suprised since I read it on the front page first.
this blog has a front page?
There's a blog here?!
Yeah the writing is practically on the wall. I still think there is a small sliver of hope that he stays at Cincy like he says he is. But we are talking college coaching politics... yeah he's gone.
I, for one, don't believe him. No source, no friend of a friend referenced. Not even a transponder number for the private jet flying him to the interview!! And, come on, who here thinks that ND would really consider Kelly, what with his support of John Kerry and his brashness. I am calling BS!
He just tweeted this (@CoachBrianKelly):
"Just informed our team that Notre Dame has contacted me and I will listen to what they have to say."
So will Jim Harbaugh, apparently.
Oh fu*k! Sat it ain't so! What in the hell are we gonna do now? Damn, fu*k, son-of-a-bit*h!
His teams score 45 and give up 44...he seems less interested in defense...rolls up lot of offense...this seems familiar, somehow.
OMGOMGOMGBRIANKELLYOMGOMGOMG... Oh, wait, we actually have real news this time... carry on.
who do you think Cincy will hire? Will they tap the CMU pipeline again and grab Butch Jones?
Kelly probably just wants to leave the state of Ohio cant blame him for that
i think that kelly has made a grave mistake in seeming too desperate for the nd job. they know they have him if they want him, so theyre going to start looking around at guys like harbaugh.
gotta play a little hard to get kelly.
I think it's a really interesting approach he's taken.
Most college coaches deny, deny, deny until the bitter end and he's being very upfront, open, and honest about it.
