I don't give a fuck what anybody says, or what happened after MSU, that boy made his bones that day, and barring injury(ies) this team WILL be a force to be reckoned with real soon.

Watching this video reminds me of his "happy feet", but also reminded me of his toughness when he was fully healthy. Look for even more of these moments next year with maturity across the board. I'm excited, and you all should be too.

Watching that makes me wonder how much of a bump up in skill Tate will show between year one and two. Obviously the injury hampered his performance last season, but for someone 'preparing for this [his] whole life' how far can he go? I know I can't wait to find out. If he shows the typical improvements he could turn into greatness. If not, I'm comfortable with DRob and Gardner waiting in the wings. Is it fall yet??

I know the nay-sayers will say "well that was ND" but, that Michigan team was better than 5-7. There were a few games that could have gone either way, but they just didn't. MSU and Iowa were two heart breakers.

Still have that game on DVR. Reminds me of the upside we have to look forward to. Last year showed us we're a year behind where we thought we'd be in the Rich Rodriguez era, which means Year Three is going to be a good one. September seems so far away {sigh}.

I was sitting in the opposite end zone and the noise was the loudest in the Big House since the overtime win against State. Great day, great feeling. Can't wait for 2010. Go Blue!

Man that game brought back some great Michigan memories for me. I put it in my top 3 games (that I've attended): 3. Michigan 35-21 over OSU in 2003 (my last game as a student) 2. Michigan 38-34 over ND last season. 1. Michigan 20-14 over OSU in 1997. The taste of pepper spray is so sweet when you are going to play for the national championship!

I was even MORE impressed with Tate after the State game. Yeah we lost, but that game really showed Tate putting a game on his shoulders, and giving all he had. I think that experience for him and Michigan will mean more than the ND win in the coming years.

Another thing I haven't seen posted on here very often is the impact of losing Odoms for as long as we did this season. Dude bailed us out several times early on, and with less quality backs this year, we could see more 2 slot sets.
