Get em' Jim-BO
Also teammates with a highly rated 2018 DT who likes Michigan.
Who? Not seeing any DTs from his school in the 2018 class. Just a couple of highly ranked CBs and a DE.
I'm guessing he's talking about Nesta Silvera, who has a few offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Syracuse. He's not highly rated, AFAIK. He did visit recently though (with Slaton and Herbert).
Otherwise, Michigan has only offered two American Heritage teammates in 2018, and neither one is a DT.
Between Fletcher Cox and Chris Jones, the Bulldogs have been pretty good at producing stud DT players lately.

Yes!!
Yeah, but then you don't totally have to. This would give us 4 kids in this class who could play OT, meaning Wilson becomes a luxury instead of a necessity. Yeah, we still want Wilson. But now if he decides to pick Bama we're still in good shape.

Oh you absolutely still take him.

because he'd be a great pull.
Yep, good guys all the way. He only mentioned UF and Miami to keep the threats down!
He'd be a great pick up.
This would be fantastic. Looks like a super player and another very high character young man.
I think your Dad would agree that 2% seems like a rather inflated amount.

Did you happen to watch the bowl game?
He, and the others, have been notified that "The addition of Honigford means they can probably only take three of their four main targets on the O-line, which are Kai-Leon Herbert, TJ Slaton, Cesar Ruiz, and Isaiah Wilson."
He was told to feel free to wait, but the ship may sail without him. If he knows he wants a spot, he needs to join the crew.
Of course, that's just my theory.....
Where is that from? Because that was my question once I realized there were likely 3 spots left and at least 4 guys high on Michigan and who Michigan was high on. They also really like Bainivalu.
It's from the Hello Honigford piece.
It's not pressure to inform a prospect that although the team would love for him to join them, the team is running out of spots.
That's just open, honest, mutually beneficial communication. That's the way I expect Michigan to execute its recruiting game plan.
