Early in December before Michigan faced Akron in the College Cup it was noted that Meram was listed by Ives (Soccer by Ives, popular US Soccer blog), as high as #21 on their Draft board:
21. JUSTIN MERAM, Michigan, Forward
A fearless forward who has shown a great ability to go at and beat defenders, Meram's stock has risen faster in the past month than any player in the nation.
His stock seems to be continuing to rise and that should excite Michigan fans. In their new Mock draft they have him as a great fit for Real Salt Lake, and note he could still move up even higher. Good luck to him in his draft preperations and hope him all the best as he enters into his professional career:
14. Real Salt Lake- JUSTIN MERAM, F, Michigan
After losing Robbie Findley to Europe, RSL headed into the off-season needing a forward. If RSL can land Meram here it will be another positive step in a memorable winter. Meram is a dangerous goalscorer, someone who loves going at defenders and can score from anywhere. A good Combine performance could see Meram go even higher, but RSL would pounce if he's available here.

I seriously thought this was going to be about him coming to kick for the football team. But I was wrong. Good luck to Justin.
