And I perused the other tweets he is receiving and seems like everything is above board for the most part, but there are "fans" tweeting at him.  smh.  Don't do it, folks.  No need to go there at all.

don't tweet and drive, either. /s

Seriously though - anyone know what his decision timeline is like?  Will he be at the BBQ in the Big House? I need info, stat!

(And I might need to not care so much about recruiting :) )

Me with recruits:

For the record I don't even have a twitter.  It's too newfangled for my taste. #getoffmyrotaryphone

at least one of each teams colors are also represented, as long as you don't get picky about gold/maize/yellow, crimson/scarlet/red.

I imediatly saw maize and blue in he center and got excited and then thought about it a moment longer. I am aware it means nothing.

I was wondering how Iowa got in there.  Not that I despise Iowa, despite our years of futility against them.  But you so rarely see them in on top recruits.  I found it almost benign that Hilliard included them, but the brother thing explains it.

Maybe he didn't do it, but that's a little bit fancier than most people just tweeting their top 5. Maybe Michigan should hire him for the promos they send to recruits.

On a sidenote, why does Saban look so happy in that picture? Surely that is not the real Saban, Saban has never been happy, ever. Also, Urban is clearly thinking about Pizza.

If the B1G loses Hilliard and Cornell to the SEC, it will be a huge blow. The league has got to keep its elite talent and pick up occasional flyers in the south if we want to be competitive again with the southern schools.

Good news, however, would be shocked if he comes here.  Why would be come here over Alabama or OSU?  We have a potential coaching situation upon us if we struggle this year and we have not been a nationally relevant program for close to 8 years now.

Really? I think a top recruit cares more about going to a program that will get him tons of exposure and land him in the NFL rather than on going to school with great academics.  Also, he might really like Hoke, however, it is far from certain that he will be employed here when he sets foot on campus.

when he sets foot on campus.

You are ignoring the attrition that took place and the young players that are coming up. In addition you have the makings of a very talented class regardless of whether Hilliard comes.

I'd say it's doubtful Michigan trashes the progress being made any time soon. I'm not going to say Hoke is the best coach in the country. The jury is out although the one year he had talent on the team they did very well. They also have Nuss and Mattison and I don't think the two of them are idiots. I think just below this is a quote from Hilliard calling Mattison a genius.

Luckily I think most recruits do not have your view of the program.

I think it's doubtful that he comes here but it's more because the competition is tough and only one can win.

I didn't say Hoke won't be employed here or that its likely he won't be employed here.  Only that its far from certain that he will be employed here.  I think thats an accurate statement.  Don't get me wrong, I like Hoke, however, if he has another season like last year and 90% of you guys will be calling for his head.

Eleven Warriors has a new post in which Hilliard breaks down his top five, saying this about Michigan:

"I've been up to Michigan so many times. I feel comfortable with the players up there and the coaches too. They have a great game day atmosphere and Coach (Greg) Mattison is a football genius."
