Twitter is different, though.  On Facebook, you can view their wall, watch high school internet drama play out, look at their pictures, see their relationship status, etc.

I'm guessing most fans who friend recruits are just looking for quotes to scroll down the News Feed and not trying to pry into personal lives, but some will obviously take it too far.

Bryan, I'm with you on what you're trying to say.  For me, (at age 25) my girlfriend would look at me funny if I told her I was FB friends with a HS'er I didn't even know, because Michigan is recruiting him.  (Unless I'm someone like TomVH.)

The last few seasons I'd be the first to jump on the "yeah...because that's not creepy..." train, however Facebook has sort of turned into Twitter.  People log on just to update status and get comments.  Being a Friend of someone's on FB does not necessarily mean you will communicate directly with them per se, you could just follow them for your news feed.

Yeah . . . I don't buy his retraction.  I know reporters are sneaky and everything, but there aren't many questions that could entice those words to come out of a kid's mouth.

Regardless . . . I think we have bigger fish to fry at the running back position.  I hope Hayes ends up at Northwestern, Wisconsin, etc.
