...and give Denard an extra 26 measly yards and get him to 5,000. What do you say?
Edit: Better still, let's give him an extra 494 yards and get him to the equivalent of a 5k road race!

did you account for the fact that he's only played 3.2 games instead of 4?

I think you meant 5 games, but whatever.
No, just straight games played, but I think that's fair. He seems to miss at least a series a game, and while I could go ahead and do something like yardage per quarter, I think there's is a chance that he misses a few quarters this season because we're way up or way down. Honestly I think by the end of the season, he'll be averaging closer to 120 rushing yards per game and 180 passing yards, but that's just me.

I like this quote from the Big House Blog (he was at the game yesterday):
Denard = Unbelievable. The IU crowd would cheer when he was stopped for a 5 yard gain.

And when he is hurt. Douchebags.

As pourous as our D has been, they do force some turnovers.

funny thing from the radio broadcast. Someone in the IU section behind michigan's bench was sparring off with Lewan throughout the game and after the hemingway touchdown drive they said: "haha, that one took you two plays!"
just incredibly funny that they knew they had no chance in hell to stop our offense and took to the 'moral victories' to cheer at.

For comparison the I-A single season rushing record is held by Barry Sanders with 2,628 yards. Pat White's NCAA career rushing total is 4,480 yards. (both as per Wikipedia).
