Just got this email re: bowl tickets

Tickets for the University of Michigan football team’s bowl game will go on sale beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST on Monday, Dec. 6. The Wolverines’ bowl destination and opponent will be announced at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, on www.MGoBlue.com. Complete ticket information will be announced at that time.

Fans can purchase tickets online at MGoBlue.com/tickets or by calling the U-M Athletic Ticket Office at 866-296-MTIX or 734-764-0247. Phone orders can be made weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets will be assigned based on the Victors Club priority point program.

The Alumni Association is taking reservations for the official University of Michigan Bowl tour at 877-513-2320 or http://www.michigansportstours.com. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TOUR WILL INCLUDE GAME TICKETS. You can also find information about the U-M bowl pep rally featuring the team, marching band and cheerleaders and a pre-game tailgate at www.umalumni.com or by calling 800-847-4764.

Michigan will play in its 40th bowl game in school history. The Wolverines will most likely be selected to play in one of the following bowl games:

Gator Bowl – Saturday, Jan. 1 (Jacksonville, Fla.), 1:30 p.m. EST
Insight Bowl – Tuesday, Dec. 28 (Tempe, Ariz.), 10 p.m. EST/8 p.m. MST
Texas Bowl – Wednesday, Dec. 29 (Houston, Texas), 6 p.m. EST
TicketCity Bowl – Saturday, Jan. 1 (Dallas, Texas), Noon EST

Michigan will look to even its all-time bowl record (19-20) with this season’s appearance. The Wolverines finished the 2010 season with a 7-5 overall record and 3-5 mark in the Big Ten.
