Just got back from a stadium tour ... a few new facts to pass on!
Random facts to relay ...
1. The Block M painted on top of the east side bleacher seats is being primed and will be repainted.
2. They will sew the block M and MICHIGAN letters into the turf ... I never knew they did that.
3. The press area on the west side is impressive ... over 100 seats w/ table tops.
4. Windows in the suites can open.
Lastly, the club seating is wonderful (and seats are still available), so if you have any interest at all, please call:

Oh, and I am not Ted ... I am a UofM alum that is just a huge fan of the stadium reconstruction project and promote it any chance I get.
"Ted..."
Lol. Just kidding. Good info.
Ted just a random question, why does your username include IU in it?
I'm going to assume that he has two degrees............
Or maybe he really wanted to go to Indiana and had to settle for Michigan.
/sarcasm
I went to UofM for undergrad and IU for Grad ... Michigan took a pass on me for their MBA program right out of school (they wanted me to have 3-5 yrs working experience) ... IU said the same thing, but accepted me anyway. So that is why I am IUandUofM ... UofMandIU seemed wierd like Univeristy of Man ...
Ignore the man behind the curtain!!!!
I concur. I was an early purchaser of club seats, and although it was difficult to write the check while it was still in the conceptual phase, it will clearly be a great place to watch football. I went with lower level (3rd floor) because I wanted to feel like I was still a part of the larger crowd. My wife, who doesn't really care for the games because she is always jammed between two ex-linemen, loves the chairback seats. The lounge and improved concessions is better than the Palace or the Joe.
My only comment is that the boxes should have gone the extra mile and had private bathrooms AND allow alcohol. I know it's a University policy, but for 80k a year I should be able to drink in the privacy of my own private suite. Just one man's opinion.
I have no idea what percentage of the club seating is still available, but I know they don't want to go to the dedication game with a bunch of empty seats. Unfortunately the State of Michigan's economy still SUCKS.
I can't wait til Sept 4th!!!
You just need this
Or this
And I cannot see them kicking anyone out of their suit for a little discretionary drinking. Gingerly test the waters, but I would think they would overlook some low-key, responsible drinking.
One of these (the beerbelly):
Or preferably... someone to wear one of these:
NIce!! But I am somewhat conflicted about the wine rack - as she drinks more, her 'rack' gets smaller.
Thus they can only work together (a type of synergy if you will) - the more you drink, the bigger her rack looks anyway (beer goggles), and therefore you dont notice (or dont care) when it is shrinking!
If they don't kick me out of class for drinking, I doubt they would kick an alum giving that much money out of their own suite.
gonna be on "Cribs"!
Now if we can just make some noize!
Go Blue!
The stadium is
almost complete. I can't wait
to sit in the stands!
What is a Haiku?
I am a high school dropout...
and a spartan alum.
