Just found out, I landed tickets for this weekend
I have never been to a game before, and with all going on this weekend I think its just a great game to start with.
I have been a UM fan for as long as I can remember and living in the heart of Bucknut country has never swayed me. Even my days working at OSU Med Center I wore Maize and Blue running shoes.
Best is that I get to share the experience with my 10 y/o son who is getting a lot of heat from his OSU buddies to switch to the dark side.
It will be a great day for he and I!

Enjoy it! Should be a great day...
I'm still waiting on my tickets from UConn... they sent them to Stratford, CT by mistake...
If they don't get here today I may end up getting them from Willcall.

Congratulations! I hope you and your son have an awesome time. This game will be huge, and is a great first game to go to. Go Blue!

perhaps it's the aftermath of this weekend's bender, maybe it's the constant bad news, or possibly it's burnout but i have zero pep right now for this weekend.

And with a dvr, you can pause the game to go take a leak, have an afternoon delight with your significant other, or go to the store and get some more beer with out missing a thing. :P

why go? game experience, how about 10 years from now when people are still talking about the game you can say i was there to experience the epic beatdown

Record in HD, and go to the game. Watch the epic beat down, then enjoy it again, this time with a more analytical eye. Also, probably want to watch it on mute or SAP.

To the best of my knowledge, the luxury suites are not all sold. I wonder if UM will sell those tickets to the average joe to fill them up?

You've NEVER been to a game before? I find that incredibly sad. Not for the last two seasons of course but the 15 seasons prior to 2008, we won about 94% of our home games.
I guess better REALLY late than never. Have fun and cheer loud. Help make that stadium a nightmare for UConn every time they're on offense.

Congrats. I'm happy for you man. Hold the rope!

What a great first game to go to, you guys will have a awesome time.

- Get there early, so you two can walk around and explore the stadium.
- Try not to leave the seating bowl once you get in. If you leave before the game, there's a good chance that lines around the section entrances will cause you to miss some of the game. Get in, and stay in, for the most part.
- Take a lot of mental pictures, this will be a great day of memories.

my wife is coming up with our other kids and spending the day shopping in Ann Arbor. I was planning on taking the shuttle to/from stadium from the Kensington Court at Briarwood mall.
Any additional recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You will have an absolutely great experience. I'll never forget my first game at the Big House, and after this Saturday, neither will you.
