Just Because POSBANG
My old man was a teacher for 35 years. It's one of the toughest jobs there is. I commend you. Best of luck.
Mind if I ask what grade/subject you are teaching?
I'll be teaching English for sixth and seventh graders on the Eastside.
My sister teaches seventh grade English, and I have no idea how she does it. Big time props, hope your day is as awesome as some of these gifs.
My mother taught English as a second language (ESL) for decades in the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
It's a hard slog. She either stayed up late doing lesson plans and grading stuff or was up at o' dark 30 doing the stuff.
Best of luck to you and make us proud!!!
Then I remembered I hate winters.
Congrats my man. I did it in French so it's fancy.
.
That is just a little bit scary!
what a bunch of pussies!
To be fair that would make me poop myself.
Attack illiteracy with Enthusiasm Unknown to Mankind!
Please tell me diagramming sentences is a thing of the past. I hated those damn things.
Congrats to you!

Bang Bang to you!
Welcome home!
Congrats!!!! Excellent use of the posbang. But seriuosy, you have one of the most important jobs in our society.
Congratulations on your new job, first and foremost.
My mother spent 37 years in Romulus Schools here in Michigan (part of it as an assistant principal and director of technology, but mostly as a teacher) and although you could see the frustrations sometimes, she loved what she did and I don't think she'd ever trade those times for anything. I never knew how she did it and I don't know that I would have the patience, but many, many kudos to those in the profession.
Teaching is the backbone of our society. Huge kudos to you, and best of luck!
Awesome. Always good to hear of people joining the ranks! Teaching is insanely rewarding and insanely exhausting.
Congrats on the becoming a teacher.
dank meme
It's been a rough day. I could use some frivolous banging.
Cool

Polish grandparents that were proud to live in America and aggressively learn to speak English. Arrival in the USA age 14 and 17.
Own at ages 14 or 17 or still dependant on the 'rents. Try to be proud of being an American.
Doubt it. Someone came through and negged every single comment inexplicably. Probably some 15 year old punk ass kid who hates his teachers.
Probably that OSU troll idiot that keeps posting on every story. I can hear him breathing heavily from his mouth from here.

hater that went thru the last couple Friday posbangs and negged nearly everyone.
But I just upvoted both of your posts to make up for it AND because I can identify with your post---my Polish Grandpa came over on a boat 120 years ago at age 13 with his 17-year-old brother (my great-uncle) and they both adapted on their own to a completely foreign culture and language. My great-uncle's last child passed away at age 91 just a couple weeks ago; between talking to her and to my dad and uncles, I have a ton of admiration for them and any others who passed thru Ellis Island generations ago.
Congrats! You're going to do great. Enjoy summer while you can :)
Both my mom and wife are / were teachers and both have found it to be an extremely rewarding career! Welcome to The D, so many good things are happening here; the region is definitely on the upswing... Great M-loving teachers moving to the area is just another sign of great things to come.
Congrats good sir, keep fighting the good fight!

Congrats! I'm a teacher and my wife is hoping to land her first full time teaching position this year. It's a hard job that keeps getting harder, but it can be very rewarding at the same time. Good luck!
May you one day see Harbaugh ride your bus!
