Jumbo Elliott, Rick Leach, Charles Woodson Make CFB Hall of Fame Ballot
The College Football Hall of Fame released its 2017 Hall of Fame ballot today, and there were three Wolverines among the 75 FBS players listed: Jumbo Elliott, Rick Leach and Charles Woodson. This was Woodson's first year of being eligible, and I have to believe he's a no-doubter.

I touched on it in my TBT story on Clay Miller, but Jumbo Eliiott was responsible for one of the worst days I ever had on a football field. He was a beast. Plain and simple. Best football player I ever saw.
I always tell people that Jumbo was one of the kindest guys off the field, but as soon as he stepped foot inside the line, he flipped a switch and hated everyone.
He deserves to be in the HOF.
My roommate was on the football team at that time (also on the offensive line) and I got to know Jumbo from him. A well deserved nickname. I always thought the offensive linemen were always the best guys on the team.
#2 is gonna pick it off, and take it back for 6.
Taken all together, that entire '97 season is still the best college football feeling I've ever had.
