That's awesome. Go Blue! For some reason I feel like Michigan will bring its A game this weekend. Raising at least one banner would be nice.
is both player of the year and goaltender of the year? That's not something you see every day. I thought Dzingel was going to win it pretty handily, though I guess no forward really stood out as particularly exemplary points-wise and Wilcox is being mentioned for Hobey.
Compher was also the only player to be a unanimous selection to any of the teams (all-Freshman).

Any chance Compher will be back next year?

It's quite uncommon for somebody to leave after their Freshman year. The only 3 I can recall having excellent Freshman years at Michigan and then leaving before their Sophomore year are Bruno Baseotto, Max Pacioretty and Jacob Trouba.
I don't think Compher would gain much in terms of speeding up his development by leaving after this year. Why not play for Michigan for most of 2014/15 rather than the Rochester Americans? It might make sense for him to go after next year, though.
