JT is back; Michigan mercies Wiscy 9-1 in 5 Inn.
Jordan Taylor is back and what a welcomed sight it was. JT mercied the Badgers after having last week off due to a sore shoulder. The girls looked like champs again today in Madison. Game-time temperature was 69 degrees under partly cloudy skies and the wind was out of the south at 23.
JT gave up 1 ER on 3 hits striking out 10 of the 17 batters she faced and surrendering 1 walk and 1 double. What a nice way to start the home stretch of the regular season.
Alycia Ryan was the offensive hero today going 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored a run along with a triple. Amanda Chidester went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. Ashley Lane went 1 for 2 with an RBI and a run scored and Bree Evans went 1 for 3 with 2 runs scored.
Hutch has to be happy with the overall production today. Although Wiscky is in the bottom half of the Big Ten, a quality win is always appreciated.

Great to see Taylor back in the lineup. While Speierman has showed a lot of promise, this still isn't like last year, where Nemitz & Taylor could rotate in & out without much of any dropoff. Taylor's health is critical to the team's success this season, so seeing her in and throwing well is huge.

I like the fact that Hutch kept her out to make sure her injury was not serious. Even though we took a loss, it was the right thing to do. Now JT is back to her normal self heading down the home stretch and into the tournament.

The remainder of our schedule looks very good. tosu and Minny are not good this year, while Lil' sister cant beat anyone this year.
So glad to see Alycia taking advantage of all the opportunities she has been given and nice to see she had a great game after being unable to attend graduation today. Also it's good to know JT is back and healthy.

Alycia was bumped up to the #3 slot and Dorian has been dropped down. Alycia is doing a wonderful job. I am very proud of her. She and hung in there over the years and now for her senior year, she gets the chance to shine and take us to the promise land.
