Damn...  Kid is good!  The QB has to put the ball in perfectly to complete anything against that guy!  And yeah, he can catch the ball...  Those one-handers don't lie.  I hope to see more of that this year, but suspect he won't be thrown to a lot.

Any more info on this kid? Looks like a decent player, we should offer him a scholarship toward the end of the cycle if we aren't already full

Nice work at WR with the one-handed grabs.  Surprised the defenders a couple times when he came down with it.  I like it on defense that he doesn't always go for the pick.  When he has to slap it away, he does so rather than miss the pick and give up a reception.

What I saw out of Jordan in the return game when he started getting reps towards the end of the season and think he can be dynamic on that role.

I could absolutely see him being an a solid slot for us when needed. He's just a solid football player.

Durkin's philosophy on "watching the receiver's eyes" was very sound and caused a lot of PBUs, but it sucked that the corners had their backs to the quarterback a lot of the time.

Lewis clearly has no problem backpeddling or shuffling (and catching). I hope Don Brown gives him a little more liberty so we can get some more interceptions.

Sounds like there will be a lot more zone that they run this year, which traditionally has the defense facing the quarterback more often. Should help combat some of the issues M has had vs. mobile quarterbacks (not to mention generate more surprise turnovers via zone blitz trickery).

One play after Peppers dropped what would have been a much easier pick six.

Sitting in the stadium that day, as soon as Peppers dropped it, I said, "How cool would it have been to have a pick six right before halftime?"

10 seconds later, Lewis has a pick six.

I'm not a football guy at all, but there's so much skill there with the hand placement, hips, timing, etc.  Sometimes I watch football players and think "that doesn't look too hard."  This is not one of those times.  There's no way in hell I could do any of that.

definitely, not sure there is enough there to make me think he needs to play WR this year. Kid definitely has some mad skills and athletic as hell, but would rather see him be a shut down corner this year and not risk any injury by playing more then needed. We have plenty of talent at WR this year, not to need him.

Also who are the DB's he goes against in the video. Are these guys on the caliber he would face in a game?

Amazing hands and quicks. I'd use him at the goal line or redzone to go up and get balls. He can jump, has the hands and has that agility to break away quick from a defender and get that separation just far enough and long enough for the ball to get there. The balance ablity is strong with this kid.   Edit: If he's playing slot in the redzone, the chances go way up that the defender on him is less athetic too? Just keep on winning baby!
