It depends on your opinion of a turnover. I have seen Peppers shut down a 3rd down play with a great individual effort and force a team to punt. That is the equivalent of a turnover in my book. Other athletes couldn't make those plays. They don't show up on the stat sheet but just as important to the game.

Dude, just shutup. Average coverage skills. He can probably lock down 99% of the receivers in college football. His fault is that he watches the backfield and quarterback too much when he was at nickle covering speedy little slot backs. You know why dippy? Probably because he had to. The defense depended on his big plays in the run game. You line him up outside with no other responsibility but to lock down the teams best receiver and that's all he has to do, he wins 8 to 9 times out of 10. Especially after he played there for a couple games. I'm right, you're wrong! He can run with anyone.

INTs for elite linebackers are rare.  In fact, INTs for any linebacker are pretty rare.  Rueben Foster and Raekwon McMillan, two of the top LBs in the upcoming draft don't have a single INT.  In fact, there isn't a LB on Alabama's roster that has an INT.  The only LB on Ohio State's roster (their 17 INTs are fifth most in the country) that has one is Jerome Baker.

So I wouldn't worry too much about a lack of INTs.

Peppers the running back makes me sad lately.  He's at 3.5ypc over the last four games.  I almost dread the Peppers package these days.  Almost.  Still holding out hope they have some good wrinkles saved for Ohio State.

Peppers the spacebacker and Peppers the punt returner, however, continue to make me very, very happy.  Here's hoping all three click in Columbus and deliver a win and cement his place in NYC.

Do what Michigan did with Woodson back in the day.  Have him run some patterns.  Regardless of whether or not he's getting the ball, he'll likely draw a couple of players to him in coverage.  Put him in at slot, or tailback.  Pair him up with another shifty guy like Evans.  Peppers taking the snap has become one of the most predictable plays we run.

Yeah, he needs to go in at tailback or slot with the actual QB in the game. Decoy him outside routes and playaction from the taiback. See how they react to it. Get him the ball in the flats against linebackers and get him into screen action playcalling. Sprinkle in the Doom and Chesson on the reverses. Throw the ball deep and beat their sugar cookie loving asses.

Edit: He needs to stay in for consecutive plays so he gets lost in the shuffle and is allowed to hammer them down play after play. Let him get going for once. Two years and we haven't got to watch him on an entire drive. Is this too much to ask?!?!

Peppers was looking to pass on a 1st quarter sweep near the endzone against Indiana but it wasn't there. I was kind of hoping it would be a surprise against OSU but Peppers running it so often for not much success that it might as well have a big flashing sign over it now that says THIS IS A SETUP FOR A PASS PLAY. I dont expect OSU to be fooled

Noah Brown has been one of the biggest mysteries of the season.  After the way he started and broke out vs. Oklahoma, to how he's finished the season has been baffling.  He had 134 yds and 5 TDs over his first three games, and has had 211 yds, and 2 TDs in the eight games since then.

Curtis Samuel on the other hand is very good.  Don't kid yourself.

He motions all over. He will line up in the WR position and motion into the backfield. And he'll also line up in the backfield and motion into a WR position. He can release from both the outside and the slot. He runs all the downfield routes. We do not throw him a bunch of bubble screens, swings or flare outs. Maybe one or two a game, but most of his catches are downfield.

We (and by we I mean the team) need to ignore the trash coming out of Columbus.  It's not well thought out or executed.  Trying to understand them will make your head spin.

Their WR coach is a piece of shit, and his group isn't doing so well this year.  Maybe he should be focusing on that, instead of trash talking college kids that are more mature than he is.
