Submitted by dennisblundon on

Josh Garnett has made his final list of 3 schools he will be choosing from which are Michigan,Stanford, and ND. He will visit Stanford in January and then be done with visits. Linky

Chesson will be deciding on Wednesday of this week. Payton is still not close to a decision and it is sounding like he will end up at Cal. Just a little recruiting info on a slow Sunday.

Thanks for the information..consensus is still Chesson with be our other WR in this class, right? Hoping for Garnett..it certainly can't hurt us that he's so close with Magnuson.

This is very good news. Only bad news is that the other schools on the list are good for what he wants too. But we are Michigan...

When you see UM, Stanford, and ND as your final 3, methinks you are looking out for your life after football. Hopefully Garnett sees what UM has to offer in the classroom and likes it.

Potentially Garnett, Kalis, Magnuson, Lewan, and AJ Williams vs. Spence, Schutt, Washington, and Pittman is going to be EPIC in 2013. The whole game is going to be all-stars vs. all stars. I'm so excited you have no idea.

Does anyone know when Garnett took his official to Michigan if he was able to see the medical facilities at all?  I bet the whole time he was probably thinking man, when are they going to take me to see the hospital.  This guy is a must-have.  Hopefully he chooses Michigan.

My only concern for the future is a reprise of Henne/Smith, where studs line up on both sides for years, but the difference always boils down to the mobility of the OSU QB turning the 10 yard sacks Henne gave up into 20 yard gains.  2013 and 2014 will see us facing a jr/sr Braxton Miller.  From how he performed as a freshman, I am not looking forward to that at all.  OSU will have it's points, as it did this year, we are going to have to come up with a way to light up their D beyond ground and pound.  We need elite receivers and backs, especially receivers, and that is where we are hurting right now on the recruiting trail.

Be nice to see some of these o line kids redshirt next year and some not so they don't all finish up their eligibility in the same year.

We really need Garnett... With him adding to our O Line we will be able to have more agile guards that can move and trap. Then go grab Banner and you're talking perfection.

Nice info. Does Ace do anything other than put out info shortly after TomVH does on ESPN. These are the types I updates I would expect from him.

Last time they were on tv Owusu was streaking down the field for a TD everytime I turned on the game (overexaggerated). Peyton looked bigger than most of the DBs but absent as far as production. Wish someone would be like hey Stefon Diggs, we forgive you for the miscommunication, do you want to set up a visit. We need a 5 star wide receiver to play immediately against Alabama and after the Spence to Ohio thing today. Overall, very excited like a few others on this post to see 2013-14 years!

Molk did take Miller under his wing, so I think Miller will make a decent center in a couple of years. As far as defending the spread with a mobile QB goes, see Alabama 2009 SEC championship.  It's not easy, but it's not impossible.  I have faith in the defensive staff figuring out a defense for the staff.  Let's not dub tsiO's Dline unbeatable just yet.  Remember Meyers last recruiting class at Florida, I think they had 3 5* D-linemen and the #1 recruiting class in the nation.  Weren't they 7-5 this year?
