rundown of Michigan's riser
needs moar usage
so much for that
This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
will be michigan's highest pick in a while
money has to go somewhere
I am only motivated by people who have no opinion about me.
the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection
but I thought that draft was supposed to be incredibly loaded?
If you're gonna go please be in the first round.
another delightful side effect of a 14 team conference
thoughtful piece from Jacobi on middle finger lady
My buddy who is a high school coach in texas told me jonothan gray broke mike harts high school td record of 204 today in the state championship game.
Who is your buddy and what does he do?
It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.
It's not a tumor
Somewhere Roll Damn Tide is lurking...
It's not a tumor. It's not a tumor, at all.
Put you hands against the wall and arch your back towards me.
[Caved troll is caved. Sorry, Mobile app users.]
a bunch of questions and I want them answered immediately.
...confidence is the stain they can't wipe off...
It sounds like his buddy is a high school coach in texas. Congrats to Gray, him and Malcolm Brown are gonna be a great combo for Texas
Texas still won't be good
"I find your lack of faith disturbing... This is Michigan fergodsakes"
The entire state?
yes, the entire state.
He could go by Nathan for short.
"A flute with no holes is not a flute. A donut with no hole is a danish"
Yep, that's Simba made out of a pineapple.
"... never forget that Ohio is still a four-letter word."
Gray, recently named a winner of the Gatorade National Player of the Year award, fell short on another of Hart's national records -- for career points scored. Gray finished with 1,232 points -- 14 behind Hart's total.
That's interesting. I didn't know Hart had National records like that. I knew he was only a 3*... i think? Anyways congrats to Mr. Gray!
Michigan FB, Michigan BB, Michigan HKY, 49ers, SF Giants, Sac Kings, Red Wings
Mike Hart is the second leading rusher in the history of US high school footvall, behind only a gjuy from Sugar Land , TX
Considering that Hart rarely played in the fourth quarter in HS, this is quite the accomplishment.
I knew kids from Dobbs Ferry, NY, who ran into Hart's team in the state semis. Against a team that gave up 14 points all year (none by the first string), Hart ran for 460+ yards and 6 touchdowns.
Why was he rated so low coming out of high school? Size and projection at the next level?
Gray breaking the record is impressive, but it's even more impressive that Hart kept the record for eight years. With tons of schools using wide-open offenses, and more schools getting into playoffs in almost every state, you would think that the record would be broken every couple of years or so.
Hart's record stood for six years longer than one would think it would. That's impressive.
Even more impressive!
A bunch of pictures of ice cream and the tagline, "A Higher Education." I think we all know to whom they're advertising.
Whatcha gonna do, little brother?
Meant to post this in the football open thread...
If one looked hard enough, I'm sure one would see the link between ice cream, higher education, and Johnathan Gray.
Texas will be good again when they run Mack out of town!
Can we get a sad Mike Hart face someone?
Class of 2008 and 2009
...the kid is like Sam McGuffie, only tanner.
“I am going to treat you all the same. Like Dogs.”
I knew Mike Hart was a good player. But....
is it safe to say his high school career actually exceeded his career at Michigan? Despite him being such a good player here, I had no idea that he was one of the best players in high school football history.
NATIONAL high school football history.
ATTN NBA Dads and Siblings: Have brothers / sons on the hoops come-up?
Michigan = NBA Family U
glad to hear kids pushing hard. Never was on the Mike Hart train...just seemed to me like he was always gimpy when we needed him or things were tough...but was able to put on his helmet when the moment was there to bask in the glow...probably just a sour note or such, but I have some memories of seeing him on an exercise bike peddling like mad when we really needed him to be on the field...then when we took a lead he was fine...don't know, just never felt real good about the kid, and in particular his mouth at times..like the whole little brother comment that always seems to come back and bite us in the arse.
you're right...Michigan's career leading rusher never delivered on the field
haa...said I just had a bad taste from the kid...don't really know why...just how it goes. Thanks for the highlight video. I'd rather see Wheatly or Bunch personally =) or what a kid like Whilcher could have done had he stayed out of Bo's dog house...
you are not fooling us. This is really funny.
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
is anything other than him giving everything he had every second he was on the field, then you have a horrendously inaccurate memory.
Also, the inexplicable yards after contact. Those were glorious.
... that may very well be the single DUMBEST thing ever posted in the bright & beautiful history of Mgoblog!!!
I mean, are you even the leastest bit serious?!?? NOBODY ever played harder, gave more, to the Maize & Blue than "Michigan" Mike.
Whatever causes your "bad taste" I seriously recommend maybe consulting a physician ... you might have a real problem there. It appears to be affecting not just your taste buds, but your eyesight & memory as well.
I simply didn't care for the guy. Just my opinion of him...dumbest ever blogged or not, I'd watch a thousand other backs before you could pay me to care about Mike Hart..no doctor required but I certainly appreciate the advice and concern. It's all good on my end, say what you want lol..love fest away, he's not my favorite by a longshot leaving it alone from there, I've made my feelings on 'big brother' well know...so be it.
pardon me, but get the fuck out of here. are you some shmuck pretending to be a Michigan fan? because you have now posted some of the most spectacularly stupid shit we have ever read.
Mike Hart is a Michigan legend and was the heart of the program while he was here. No need to argue about that with this clown.
"the team, the team, the team."
so I didn't care for him...get over it already, ...life goes on...Jesus...was there some fucking code book of mindless herding I missed when I signed up? fuck off already...didn't realize we lest be judged by our ordained opinion of Saint Michael of Hart...it's a wonder SOME folks view SOME UM fans/alum as arrogant ...#sarcasm...wholy get over yourself already.
His teammates apparently disagree with you, seeing as how he was voted co-MVP in 2006, and elected a captain for 2007. Other than that, let's look at this premise. The guy you're saying didn't give his all holds the following Michigan records:
Rushing attempts (1,015)
Rushing yards (5,040)
Most games over 100 yards (28)
Most games over 200 yards (5)
What exactly did you expect out of this guys career?
so is this where the sandusky jokes go?
I heard penn state is switching to the no huddle offense for their bowl game. Not the spread, mind you. Just no more huddling.
bat dat psshhhhhhh
Getting a good laugh out of that situation, you sick fuck?
