Jon Runyan elected to Congress
Jon Runyan won a seat in the House. At least someone associated with Michigan football had a good day today.

...that a Republican Wolverine won. Let's hope he doesn't lose his spine in DC and sticks to the principles he ran on. I am sure Lloyd isn't so happy.

Friends/Students/Teammates > Politics. I'd want my friends to win regardless of their political affiliations.

....I know LC is happy for Jon even though they are of polar ends of the political spectrum

all the newbies going in keep their spine and remember why they are there. There's more entitlement public servants going down on both sides of the aisle tonight and in two years.

Congrats Jon

I saw this thread last night and wondered how soon it would turn from one ostensibly wishing a former Wolverine congrats to one expressing views of an explicitly partisan nature. Didn't take long. And here is my 2 cents regarding threads that practically invite political posturing: don't do it. I really don't need this crap here.
