"John Navarre blamed for offense, defense, 9/11..."

Does anyone have a link to Brian's legendary Every Three Weekly article from 2002 (?) about Navarre? I can't find one that works.

but yes, this may be the first appearance of Tacopants. I was a student at this time and inspired by this writing I generated a "candlelight vigil in support of John Navarre's 11-ft imaginary friend" email that ended up getting back to me a year later... apparently it made the rounds. Brian was one of the originators of the Every Three Weekly. I still have some issues saved in the ol' files. I especially remember the "Killer Robots are not rampaging across north campus" article and almost peeing my pants from laughing so hard in Chemical Kinetics (ChemE 444)

God we had a contender that one year when Henson went down for 2 weeks. Navarre just had to not lose the UCLA and I believe Illinois games and he went in and just wet the bed. Here's to you John Navarre, king of the overthrow. I don't even think I wanted Thornton Mellon to graduate as much as I did that guy.

actually henson relieved navarre and saved the game against illinois. navarre was terrible against UCLA. i think he was like 7 for 20 with 3 or 4 TOs. we still had a chance at the end until i think he fumbled around the ucla 15 yard line, IIRC. imo, we would have played in the title game against miami (and gotten killed) but for henson's injury. we also lost the shootout against NW and to bree's purdue team on a last second field goal that year. to navarre's credit, he had a great senior year. and he was the best QB ever for the QB sneak. i don't think the opponent ever stopped that play.
