Love how the staff is promoting their strong NFL ties since they've been here and hope they keep it up.

From last months issue of The Wolverine:

"There has to be some kind of destiny, some kind of a force. How it happens I have no idea. I really don't care to know. I'm just thrilled to be here."

"He's built some houses," Jack Harbaugh mused. "Now he's building a house, and he wants to be here. Coaching here is something he's dreamed of pretty much all his life."

There was a narrative that Jim and John are engaged in the most bitter, intense sibling rivalry in history -- so intense that Jim wouldn't leave the NFL until he matched or surpassed his brother in Super Bowl rings.  I'm sure they're competitive with one another, but they sure seem to like each other.

I posted this roundtable a few weeks ago that they did with Steve Sabol, Jack, and Tom Crean, must have been a few years ago now because Jim was still at Stanford. They have some slight differences but definitely you can tell they're cut from the same cloth.

IIRC someone asked them at the "HarBowl" press conference (where Jim showed up in his khakis and John in a suit) if they would ever consider coaching together. Both responded affirmatively. Can you imagine that?

It's just a really neat family overall.

I have no coaching experience but I think I'm going to go to this for fun. As well as I'm sure I'll pick up some valuable knowledge from such great football minds.

I still haven't fully come around to the fact that we have arguably the best staff in college football with nfl ties and experience all over the board.
