All class. And I have a feeling that, of all the players John Beilein has ever coached, hed love to see J-Mo get drafted more than just about anyone.

I think JMo will get a solid look as an UFA. He will certainly work out more. There are a lot of solid guys out there who did not get drafted though

There's something about that picture that almost brings a tear to my eye.  Seriously.  What a guy.  He's almost so sincere and so nice he seems naive.  But he's not, he's just that good of a guy...

I'm obviously biased, but I think the nation's elite players should be lining up to come to Michigan right now.  Beilein is just phenonmenal in so many ways.

I am biased, too, but I think John Beileiin is the #1 coach in the country when it comes to developing players, and it isn't even close.

Confession - when i saw thread title I thought it meant he guaranteed he would stay at UM until all of 2014's class of freshman graduated.  Damnit.  But not damnit as well due to what the title really meant.  Of course it is easier to love a winner but man what a jackpot we hit with this guy on and off the court.

i adore the man, but it is amazing how much winning allows people to notice how awesome a human being is. if coach Beilein had been losing up to this point most people wouldn't even be able to spell his last name... let alone notice how astronomically huge his heart is.

Well ya, cuz he wouldn't even be around as the coach anymore and wouldn't be our coach. I'm sure the stories have been documented about coach before, but winning brings more exposure on a more frequent basis. I think we all would still be able to say what a great man he is though

Yeah if a coach is winning fans are going to be more inclined to see them with a positive perception that extends beyond their coaching abilities. Nick Saban does not strike me as the most upstanding guy, but many Alabama fans probably think he's a perfect human being. On the contrary, if a coach is consistently losing, people might criticize them and want them fired, but most probably don't get so blinded by a lack of success to think that person is inherently bad. The general consensus around here about Rich Rod was "really good guy, just not a good fit." Then again, some fanbases may be much, much different.
