In case anyone is interested, John Beilein is on Jim Rome today. I know a lot of people hate Jim, but I don't. Listen at your leisure.
needs moar usage
can get me to watch Jim Rome
Whatcha gonna do, little brother?
Say what you want about Jim Rome being a hack, but he is a great interviewer.

Rome is arrogant, opinionated, and aggressive. What's not to like about him?
He is the best sports talk show host out there. ESPN Radio is garbage, and just remember, when you start to hate Jim Rome, think about Colin Cowherd, and remember that Cowherd is a thousand times worse IMO.
Only issue I have with Rome is that he'll tend to repeat stuff or go 10 minutes rambling on one topic / playing the same sound clip over and over.
I know a lot of people hate Jim Rome, but I love his radio show. His tv shows have always sucked, but his radio shows are great. Looking forward to hearing Coach B on Rome today.
Chuck Norris wears Brady Hoke pajamas.
Jim Rome also claims people (e.g., Tiger) don't like him because he said something about them and they won't get over it. But maybe people just don't like Jim Rome because they find him obnoxious and uninteresting.

Rome is hit or miss for me. When he stays on topic about sports, he can be pretty funny on the radio. But half of the time if I tune in in the middle of a segment I don't know what he's even talking about as he often gets off-topic from sports.

I don't dislike Rome, necessarily, but a lot of his "takes" are generally obvious or not all that thought-provoking or analytical. My favorite was tuning in to a "Rome is Burning" about five years ago and Rome using his final burn on the Kansas City Royals for, well, being the Kansas City Royals. Really going out on a ledge there and taking chances, Jim, calling out the Kansas City Royals for being terrible.
"Nowhere is there a better university, in any way, than this Michigan of ours."
Rome is the best !!! I used to hate his show but grew to like him. He's always on point and is a straight-shooter

that's great. I also like how you got the <b> tag stuck somewhere and turned all the comments below you bold.
Man ball. Formerly, somebody else.
you like the Hawks.

If I ever want to listen to the rustle of papers over otherwise long periods of dead air I'll tune into Jim Rome's radio show.

Anyone that regularly trashes the worlds most popular sport as being stupid has no business being paid to discuss his sports opinions.
but it was a good interview. Beilien talked about the normal stuff: how mature Trey is, how tough the big ten is. In addition, they touched on how Beilen has never been an assistant, and whether that has helped him as a coach.
I had to take a call and missed the end, because ya know, I work, but it was still a solid interview. Say what you want about Rome (whenever I see him I think of the parody of him in Any Given Sunday played by John C. McGinely): his enunciation is annoying and he can be a troll- but the guy is a pretty fantastic interviewer.
Ok, it's monday, I have TPS reports to do.

Can't stand Rome. I'm shocked people can stand to listen to him ramble to himself. "How great was that interview? Best interview ever. That was Money. Classic! I'm Jim Rome" He talks more about how great an interview was then anything else. I'll take SVP or Dan Patrick anyday .
