Joey Brackets way to early brackets have Michigan as a 6 seed playing Villanova. 2 years ago when Lunardi had Michigan in his preseason bracket he had them as a 4 seed if I recall correctly. I do not envinsion the same thing happening to this team with Darius Morris more than likely returning for his junior season. Hopefully the breakout season of Tim Hardaway Jr. will take this team over the hump and to the Sweet 16.

6 seed, whatever doesnt matter, but Purdue ahead of us? No damn way. They lose all of their good players except Hummel and who knows what he will be able to do after 2 years of sitting.
And what the hell? Indiana in and Minnesota first four out? I just dont see it.
10 bucks says hummels doesn't play more than 5 games. That kid is the white Greg oden
is the white Greg Oden, but I see your point.
I see what you did there.
The program prestige why indiana is in that spot. Same reason why notre dame football is top 25 preseason every year.
Indiana hasn't been in tourney for 3 years, they aren't just going to be put that high on prestige when they have been bad last 3 years. However with all key players returning, Creek back from an injury (was scoring 17 ppg as freshmen) and the Zeller kid coming in, Indiana will surprise a lot of people especially in a Big Ten that is everyone looking up at OSU.
But that doesn't give you a 6+ game improvement in conference which is what they would need to even sniff the tournament.
How do you know Darius Morris is "more than likely" to return for his junior season?
Trying too hard.
Trying to hard.
Two very different phrases.
I think the second one is the slogan for Viagra.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. --Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
Eye am gassing the whirred your looking four is two. Won reason ewe mite knot half bin able too remember is that it has become politically incorrect two bee openly homophonic. All though thee definition has nothing to due with orientation and everything two due with pronunciation, I steel here there are sum people who git the idea that most of us on this bored are all high per homophones. I don’t except that and you shouldn't ether. (Sum off us are baroque banned musicians witch just crank up the base, play cords and reed Michigan supports sights wishing wee whir athletic.) Weather that’s truer not, were awl effected when a hand full loose they’re riding discipline and consistently misuse homophonic words. Then we half to submit are selves too the gram or not sees.
You have way too much time on your hands.
Drive through the dessert and hang a write at heterograph weigh.
Thanks for the heads up, Joe.
Next year's tournament should be called the UNC invitational. Can't believe Zeller, Henson and Barnes are all returning. Unfortunately they'll be a machine.
I'm not hoping for a trip to Chapel Hill in the B1G-ACC Challenge. I mean, yeah we held our own against good teams last year but seriously, this team will be amazing.
Our Maui Invitational opponents as seeded by Joe Lunardi:
Most way to early preseason rankings have Michigan in top 10-15 which would put Michigan at 3-4 seed. Lunardi thinks that Michigan is not a top 25 team despite Michigan will return everybody(pretty confident that Morris will come back).
Purdue ahead of Michigan? They lose Moore and Johnson but return Hummel who tore both of his knees within 2 years span.
Wisconsin ahead of Michigan is a bit of a stretch since they lose key players like Leuer and Nankival. Wisconsin always a tough team year in and year out so it's just okay for now.
UNLV, Alabama, Temple, Gonzaga and to name a few shouldn't be ranked ahead of Michigan.
It's fine, although he would have us in his top 24 if we're a six seed. Fly under the radar, don't give in to the pressure, etc. Being a top ten team would probably hurt more than it would help IMO.
I don't know how much this really matters, but I'm pretty sure Hummel tore the same ACL twice. I remember when I heard about it that it seemed like he was playing full contact too soon following surgery, but that was just my non-doctor opinion.
So everyone important including the 2 best guys are returningvso they've gotta be good next year. I love U of M BB, but I've heard that before, so pardon me if I pessimisticallly call bullshit on any of these ridiculous pre-pre-season polls/brackets.
Why should we care what Joe Lunardi thinks?
Wasn't he the guy who predicted we would lose to Tenn. by double digits?
What's the point of bracketology about 9 or 10 months before the field is set? Who are the first four in and out at this stage?
