Video of the players at B1G on twitter. I would expect mgovideo to have it up at some point. Link here -

Proud of these student athletes representing the University well. The passion and determination from Joe Bolden at the end of the interview will get you fired up. Go Blue!

Bolden's quote here pretty much puts Harbaugh on the same level as Bruce Dickinson...Yes...The Bruce Dickinson -

"It’s awesome. It’s different. It’s new,” Bolden said. “It gets everybody talking. I don’t know what the big deal is. Everybody’s talking about his khakis, (but) it’s just a pair of pants. The guy wakes up and puts pants on just like everybody else does.”

I got a fever and the only prescription is more Harbaugh!!!

For whatever reason, this interview makes me want to get a dynasty going. Seeing the players and being a fan of them individually and wanting them to succeed...I need something to hold me over.

I can't wait to watch and analyze every second of every game.

It's too hard with a new coach, too much up in the air. If I can get some practice rumblings, I'll definitely do one during fall camp. Right now it would just be a bunch of /'s and you'd be teasing me because of them.

I'll wait until I hear more about scheme and I hear who's playing well in fall camp.

Each of these guys hit home runs. I couldn't recall hearing Chesson speak publicly before but that guy has "leader" written all over him. Ross offered insights and Bolden, in a folksy way, divulged the team philosophy for this season: we're tired of underperforming, we have the dudes, we've been doing everything possible each day to achieve our objectives, and we are the best damn team in the conference. I am so very pleased they still make young men like this. Go Blue!

I've been following UM football since the 80's and this off season has been the most entertaining and new season most anticipated ever. The exciting thing is how many millions of fans, alumni, etc share the same feeling. I'm going crazy waiting till Sept 3, but at the same time will be satisfied following the team along fall camp and seeing the progress they make.

Jehu - "I don't want to leave out any names"

Mentioned Malzone, Morris, Rudock, Cleary, and Moores....did Speight officially transfer?  Or is he still around?  I can see not mentioning O'Korn or Gentry, but Wilton is an afterthought to walk-ons now?

Something material there. Or, perhaps, Jehu simply neglected to mention Speight due to interview flow. We'll find out in about a month. I'm Jones'n Michigan Football too, patience is the only cure.

In watching that gif it strikes me that what everyone seemed to miss about Denard was that although he wore number 16, he had dreads, and always wore a smile, the guy was actually not that slow, had a little bit of quickness and even had a move or two!

Fi watch. Intensity is a common theme. And I'm glad to see that Harbaugh taught them not to say anything that might come back to bite the team in the butt.

We're in a new era guys and gals, and I couldn't be more excited

refreshing, some real tidbits and insight into program (in contrast to Harbaugh interviews in the last 2 months filled with coachspeak.)  worth a listen if you're hungry for football

for example, re: "culture change" (which Harbaugh avoided), we get that they are:

* self-policing, getting 100% turnout, wanting to meet (i.e. "buying in") to standard of excellence. Hoke always talked about it, Jehu says there's now "extra-oomph", guys trying harder to meet that expectation coaches talked about.

*having "constructive competition."  guys not going on off own own to study playbook to beat out other guy, but building each other up, coming together even though competing.

*energized by Drukin's intensity and energy on D...."guy you want to play for."  Durkin's mantra to them: Once ball is snapped and in play, whether in air, on ground, or in O's hands, IT's OUR BALL.  hopefully turns into more turnovers.

*Bolden on MSU/OSU recently having upper hand, "I'm not afraid to say it, at end of year, I visualize, I plan on being on top."

* Jabril brings energy which the D-backfield feeds off of.  It's not just that he's good and talented, it's that he makes others around him do better.

* my favorite:  Harbaugh tweeted his addition to the "Those who stay will be champions" quote, adding "Those who try hard will stay" pic.twitter.com/biqUTMMIBL , but Jehu shortens it to "Those who stay will be champions, THOSE WHO TRY WILL STAY"

We've had almost no football news the last 2 months....this 13 minute video has so much.

Worth a watch!

Going against Peppers should only help Jehu. I am rooting for him to be the surprise WR this year. He got the speed and height. He can block. If he can figure it out, all our concerns with receiving corps will go away. Go Blue!
