Joaquin Update (Promising)
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at1+shtml/235910.shtml?5-daynl
Latest projections have moved back the northward movement by one day. The storm projects to be well south of the DC area this weekend, and now has a late Monday/early Tuesday projected impact on DC area.
Predictions of precipitation aren't even nearing 50% Saturday afternoon/evening, and we're now close enough to make a decent prediction of weather that day. Can't see any way this game gets cancelled. Even an earlier kickoff would be overkill, IMO

I just halfway assumed Joaquin Update was some 2018 DB prospect from Illinois.

Living in the general area of the storm (South Carolina), along with all the rain we've had the last 2 weeks it appears we will be inundated with even more. Think I'll just go buy me a kayak, probably be able to get around better with it than I would my truck.
Here's to hoping the game on Saturday doesn't feature a torrential downpour.

Just please let us out of Maryland with no injuries. Playing in crappy conditions is a nightmare. If I were Maryland, I'd be out watering the turf for 72 hours before gametime to give themselves a chance.

It helped move the game to noon.
