Jim Tressel Spoke to the Ohio Team Before They Left

Submitted by hart20 on

Jim Tressel spoke to the Ohio team before they left on Friday. I'm not sure what a ban from contact with the program means in Columbus but everywhere else it means you can't be in contact with the program.  Can't wait for the NCAA to come down hard on Ohio for such obvious arrogance and insolence. But it's not like it helped them anyways: Michigan 40, Ohio 34. Go Blue!

Jim Tressel spoke to #OhioState's team on Friday at the WHAC right before the squad hopped on the buses to Ann Arbor.

Trying to get his last bit of glory in before St. Urban hits town. I expect tress to come to a pathetic ending; between his video review job and this, he's off to a good start.

At some point, doesn't someone pull Gene Smith aside and tell him that he is doing EVERYTHING wrong with this NCAA investigation fiasco, and that hiring Meyer isn't going to be the band-aid he thinks it is just because the guy coached Tebow a couple of years ago?  You can't have the former coach - who is responsible for your LOIC charge and a bunch of potential sanctions - talk to your team before a big game, especially when said coach is banned from contacting said team?

these cheaters with so much white hot passion.

I used to love the respect, the good physical play, but they've made a mochery of it to end what was their streak.

Fuch them all.

I seem to recall on Memorial Day, right after Jim Tressel "resigned," a ton of OSU slappies showed up on his front lawn and Tressel promised them that OSU would win in Ann Arbor this November.

What happened there?

Was all over this one, they probably cleared it with the NCAA.... I mean they certainly told them about it right? Up front? I mean it would be stupid not to... And they can't be that dumb... Can they?
