Ok I apologize for the asshole comment above. But it's pretty stupid for some random MGoBlog forum poster to declare (without any hard evidence) that a recruit who is set on coming to Michigan only got an offer to lure in his brother. Especially considering that we have equal and/or lower rated DB's in this class. If he ends up being buddies with Bruce Tall or Tony Dews or something, then I'll gladly take back my words.

they were both offered because they are both good recruits. losing terry would be rough but terrance isnt a bad recruit either, he has good speed and size at a position of major need in the class, losing either would hurt

Welcome to the family Jibreel. When asked who he is most like in the NFL he stated, "Lamarr Woodley" as his answer. Here's to hoping that's true. On a side note, I guess we know now why Terry Talbott is exploring his options.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out with them. This puts our class at 26, the goal according to RichRod. I assume he would still accept Parker/Knight, but it would certainly become clearer if something happened to the Talbotts. If Terry leaves, is Terrence gone as well?

He seems to get a little 'tall' at times, but it looks like he can get off the ball really well. I'm curious to see whan happens when he orders the "Will Campbell Special" from the Barwis Menu o' Body Re-shaping.

Yea, that jumped out at me right away. He seems to explode up more so that out, which takes away a little of his explosiveness off the snap. He can get away with that in high school because of his talent, but that's going to have to be corrected immediately or else he's going to get pancaked a lot. He looks adept at disengaging from blockers, but not once did use anything but a bull rush, so this kid obviously has a high upside once he develops a killer spin move a la BG.

Black does play high, but I don't think it's as much of an issue as you might think. Obviously, his leverage would be better if he played with a good lean. But since he's only 6'2" and he'll be going up against tackles who are probably 6'5" to 6'7", he should still be able to get under their pads. It's not a big concern for me. The coaches will work on his pad level, and he'll be even more explosive than what you saw on film.

I was also born in Indiana, Fort Wayne yeah it was much cheaper to go to IU then pay for out of state school but i would love to be at Michigan On another note I played football for my high school last year against Roderick Smith who is the running back committed to Ohio State. He is a big back who is very strong and started since he was a freshmen, but he will not be that dominating running back like a Beenie Wells he is not a running back who will run you over.

Washington has 30 commits?!?! Seriously. (Where they rank the teams.) Talk about drinking the kool-aid, since I thought the NCAA limit was 28.

I have a feeling that this commitment will have little to no effect on at least one of those guys. We'll still get one if he wants to come, whether it's because of a non-qualifier or a kid who gets Barnes-ed or whatever.
