Is TD considered an unreliable reporter? I don't know. He does have sources, doesn't he? Reporters can't always name their sources. The key is whether those reporters have credibility. Does he? Or no?

I suppose Mark Snyder can, too.
But Mark Snyder has editors, and those guys sort of pride themsleves (unjustifiably) on being real journalists. With rules. And the Free Press Ethics Policy on anonymous sourcing says this:
We name our sources. The use of unidentified sources in published material requires the approval of a managing editor or the highest-ranking editor available.

In this case, Mark Snyder quotes Tom Dienhart. Who, for his own part, quotes... no one.

We wil see what happens and live with it when, and if, it happens.

if there is a coaching change? Short of some deal already cut, I doubt a new coach would be in place that quickly.
Do the assistant coaches take care of it or does the visit get cancelled/rescheduled?
Personally I hope this is just theoretical and Rrod is retained.

And yet no mention by anyone besides myself, that if Harbaugh comes, SO WILL ANDREW LUCK. A redshirt sophomore would have two more years left.

Well that seems rather dumb. Get millions of dollars or sit out a whole year lose draft stock, then play 12 games in the winged helmet. Come on man ( insert ditka/keyshawn voice here ) get real.
Edit: well this post is now stupid considering that old school wolverine's is no longer posted. Sry g-reaper

I see your point. I definitely see your point as it pertains to columnists -- the ones who never leave their livingrooms. But beat guys like TD are out there in the shit. They're only as good as their reporting. So, over time, TD's got a lot to lose if he's wrong. And, yes, everything has become a cluster-fuck at this point. At the same time, though, basically every reporter who has ventured a prediction about the cc has predicted RR's demise (and confidently). Few have predicted that DB will keep RR. What are the odds that they're all wrong? It's certainly possible. But seems unlikely. Directly or indirectly, they seem to know something.

These are the same guys that were calling Les Miles to Michigan. Dave Brandon's word is law, and for better or worse, he has not spoken yet. Until I hear an utterance from the ivory tower. There is nothing to discuss, the end period.

Like all those people here and elsewhere who were 100% confident (or 95%, depending on the commenter) that Anthony Zettel was coming to Michigan?
I don't recall reading here or anywhere else a prediction that he was going to Penn State.

Wow, 192 replies on this thread.
All by people not named Dave Brandon.
And nothing new, just the same rehashed speculation that was rampant a few weeks ago... now I remember why I haven't been visiting the board very much lately.
See you guys after the bowl game.

How do you know that Dave Brandon isn't posting here?

they were constantly overshowed by Rogers and Hamerstein.

I am shocked Harbaugh would leave Maryland so soon.
