Jeremy Clark stats

Submitted by kaykaybroke on

Was looking at TTB's Recruit tracker and saw this piece of info:

Jeremy Clark and North Hopkins defeated Graves County by a score of 42-13. Clark had an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown to go along with 12 tackles and 1 interception.

This is indeed impressive if accurate and I wouldn't be surprised to see his ratings get a bump if he continues at this pace.

Yeah, but that depends on the school, you know that.

That said, I'd like us to keep going for high profile DBs like Wright or Shumate or someone like that and keep Clark in our back pocket.  If it doesn't workout, though, I'd be all for him taking a scholarship.

Grain of salt, as someone who lives in the area, the football competition in Central Kentucky is abysmal. Clark's stats are great but don't be surprised if he has similarly impressive numbers throughout the season.

Just an update, Clark's one pick was returned 40 yards to the end zone but another player was credited with the TD because the ball came loose in the end zone into his teammates hands. Tonight's game saw him run another pick back for a 60 yard TD, however he should have taken a knee because the Maroons were up with no time on the clock. He also caught a two point conversion on the offensive side of the ball. The 40 times on the young man are correct. He actually ran in the 4.4s at three straight camps. Don't expect many picks however, most teams run in western Kentucky. He looks over 6'4" may be just under 6'5". If you are interested, the rumor around town was that Ohio State was interested but wanted him to switch positions because of his height. Michigan I'm sure was aware of the interest. He was the highlight of most of the camps according to the coaches.
