It appears not.  He finished "rehab" and they sent him to AAA to get some more work instead of bringing him up.  Might have something to do with the roster as you'd have to send someone down and Collins would likely be that guy but he's been hitting the ball well lately so I don't think you want to move him as your best hitter off the bench right now.

I had heard on the radio this afternoon that J.D. would be available off the bench if needed, but even if I half-expected him to enter the game, definitely didn't see the home run coming. This has been as hot as the Tigers have been in nearly two years when when you consider the length of the current streak, and yeah, we're getting everyone back at just the right moment.

MLB.TV is offering live streaming for the rest of the season for only $17.99.  I live out of state, just purchased it tonight, and obviously am not at all disappointed.

A very cool option is to overlay the radiio feed on the TV coverage. The timing is perfect down to the crack of the bat.  Media execs: can you please figure out a reasonable financial way to do this for our Wolverines?  Pretty please?  It would improve humanity.

If your experience is like mine you just signed up for an automatically updating subscription which means MLB.TV will be taking full price from your credit card next spring. If memory serves, you have to call to cancel your subscription. I paid for all of 2015 unintentionally after signing up for a late season deal in 2014.

The best two pitch sequence I've ever seen. Iglesias with a Web gem to end the top half of the 9th, then JD on the first pitch of the bottom hammering a bomb to take the lead.

Looks like the Indians might need to leave the kitchen. Getting swept at home by the Twins  is a a bad answer to the Tiger's 8 game winning streak.

Fulmer has cost himself at least 3 wins by giving up a run or runs late. As gaudy as his stats are they could even be gaudier.

While Tigers didn't do a deal at the deadline, having Michael Fulmer in the rotation is like getting Doyle Alexander without having to give up John Smoltz.

Wow! I was going crazy. I need the tigers to keep playing well to keep me from going crazy waiting for Sept. 3. Really looking like the tigers are going to take the division. Best regular season game in a couple years.
