Jay, how dare you?

Jay, You have passed Brian in MGoPoints, and have therefore brought irreparable shame to yourself and our entire community. This villainy cannot and will not stand. I suggest that you commit ritual seppuku. If you would honor me, I will be your second.

I for one welcome our new Jay overlord. I'd like to remind him that as a trusted MGo personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in his underground Nate Robertson torture chambers.

You know, I noticed the other day he had 3000 and some, and I couldn't figure it out. I couldn't recall even ever noticing his posts. Has somebody been upvoting EVERYTHING he posts? Does Jay have an alternate identity, the masked voter?

And how, exactly, would someone "have your boys" upvote everything? Do you think he sends out a super secret email to all of his "boys" to make sure they + all of his comments? Perhaps it's because he generally keeps a level head and doesn't overreact about every MSM story out there? Naw, you're probably right bouje. Boooooooo-jay!

Dex got 5 points just for being supportive of him. And those who were critical got negged. Jay definitely has some buddies on here. Either that or multiple accounts.

Jay has been on MGoBlog forever - going back to the haloscan days, and his opinions show that he generally doesn't give a shit what people thing of him - he's not one to upvote all his own posts in an MGoPoint-grab.

He got +18 on the comment linked to by Court Wenley. I've never seen anyone get +18 for anything short of a masterful, long, well-researched post. Methinks shenanigans.

I did not create this thread so that it could devolve into people whining about secret friends. We all have secret friends, mine happens to live in the place where the batteries go for the remote that came with my TV. It was left vacant once I started to use my cable remote for everything, so I told him he could crash there for a while. Anyway, this thread was created so Jay could stand (or sit, as it were) and face his immoral behavior. I care not if he is supported by an upvoting army, only that he takes responsibility for his actions. Preferably by MGoSeppuku.

Honestly, this was all in jest. I don't really care about MGoPoints; I knew I would get negged just for posting this (and I was right). The season is drawing near, and instead of yet another thread about 3 QBs I thought I would have some fun. I didn't go back through his posts and try to figure anything out. I had been wondering if anyone would eventually pass Brian though. I had hoped that my overly flowerly language and weird tangents would show it's all just a joke. No hard feelings Jay (and your minions).

order to accumulate the points he has; he certainly doesn't post many comments. Checking, he gets 25 points for a "story." Whether that is near enough is another question - I suspect that Brian isn't really obsessing over the points he earns on his own blog. Regardless, in the same vein of Jamiemac's comment - ITS ALL BRIAN'S FAULT!
