Title says it all. It always seemed like he was very good but we may have underappreciated him a bit. Keep it up Burke!
national champs baby

Harvard: The MICHIGAN of the East
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
My life has been more like Mad Libs
Praise from Jay Bilas is legit. He is one of the very few no BS analysts on ESPN
We've been massaging the dudes balls since he came to AA. I don't think there's been any under appreciation going on.
I am guessing there is a good chance he doesn't come back next year, which puts more pressure on them to win the Championship this year! Although Albrecht looks to be a quality backup, he's still not on the same level.
Derrick Walton Jr is no slouch. Sure he won't have many of Treys skills, but He should start over Spike from day 1.
The PG we have coming in next year Derrick Walton is a top 50 player nationally. He probably won't be as good as Burke next year but with him an Spike are PG play will be solid
Are point guard. Yyyyyyeah.....
"I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada." -Britney Spears
Yep, Walton is more highly ranked nationally than either Morris or Burke. It will be interesting to see if he out-performs expectations as did his two immediate predecessors...or in his case, lives up to expectations. If he does, Michigan will have put itself on the map pretty quickly as a PG destination.
Burke is definitely underappreciated.
Other people in that group: Denard Robinson, Greg Mattison, Kate Upton.
But her incredible pair of ta-tas are most definitely not under appreciated.

fuck jay bilas.

that is all.

Pasadenablue might not have been very eloquent, but this seems like the first good thing Bilas has said about Michigan since Amaker left. It may be a sign that Bilas is capable of being objective when discussing Michigan, but it may be more of an indication that his bosses at ESPN have talked to him about it.
Bilas had a terrible bias against Michigan in the past. While I forgive him for it, I'm not about to believe that it's gone because he says something that is becoming obvious to the rest of the basketball world.
and yes, that was the point, although i meant for there to be a bit more humor, which didn't exactly shine thru.
it was funnier in my head.

did you have to listen to those broadcasts? it was tough enough to watch the team. having jay bilas exact his unprofessional, duke-chum agenda on live television was even more frustrating.
anyways, i don't need some hack journalist to tell me that the player i've been watching for over a season is pretty fucking good. you don't become co-B1G freshman of the year by queefing around.

to be grudging in his respect for Beilein and the team. Amaker was never as bad as his biggest detractors made out, but it was time for him to move on. Glad Bilas has finally put his big boy pants on, because he embarrassed himself for a while there. And a lot of people took note.
Some of my grudges are near and dear to me.

This one is a good read, too.

I don't blame anyone for disliking Bilas. He spent years trashing our program and suggesting that our school didn't care about basketball (because a school that cares would keep Amaker around forever, apparently). The guy was a seemingly endless supply of negative recruiting ammunition against us.
The first video in that thread was removed. Context?
I believe it was a replay of Manny Harris' elbow against the player from Purdue. He was ejected afterwards
If I tell you it's Easter, you better start looking for eggs.

So he's telling us what we already know. Trey Burke is awesome.
I hate ohio. Thats all you need to know.
Tommy A. was/is a class act. He who dies with the most unused timeouts wins!!
The article includes Chad Ford's take as well. Who does he say is the best PG? Carter-Williams? Atkins?
btw, I still can't believe that I was more excited about Carlton Brundidge coming to AA than Burke. Thank goodness Beilein is exceedingly smarter than I and recruited both of them.
I hate when people I detest say something I agree with. What am I supposed to do with that?

How many of you guys remember the "Tre Burke : Journey to Ann Arbor'" YouTube videos? I knew after seeing those he was going to be a beast.
This will be a great matchup. Craft was the overall winner of these match ups last year. Would live to see Burke take it to him this year
"Relax you panic monger" -Megatron
He surely didn't out play Trey in Ann Arbor.
All in for some manball.

I will fight 'til I am dead, a winged helmet on my head.
He may be underappreciated from the standpoint that a lot of people made Burke seem worse than he was when he was debating going pro after last season. It was good that he came back, but he was great towards the stretch last season and he only helped himself in camps during the offseason, which is what I think he would have done had he declared after last season. His size isn't ideal, but people seemed to underrate how skilled he was. Even some analysts didn't see it.
So, I'm glad he came back but it was clear after last season that some people underappreciated him. Not now, though.
When have we underappreciated Trey Burke? I'm wondering what a senior Darius Morris would be today, and what it would do to our PG rotation, and how it would affect Burke's life in general... Life is like a choose your own adventure book. Or is a choose your own adventure book like life?...
"Michigan Defense" is dominating everything, in every aspect of life. That's a rough definition.
